Do i really need to post my 4 characters that are mythic raiding again in a row for people to get the hint I’ve already done it
Well that’s a giant stretch. Using one essence that sims a tiny bit less for one class - If that’s what is determining your ability to get a raid spot then you’re already in a bad place.
WoW is not an account progression game for character power at max level. I’d rather it not turn into one.
If you haven’t done it on that character, it doesn’t matter.
I would. What is the down side of everything going account bound?
I know people are against it, but what are the negatives?
Oh nooo I’m not forced to do multiple dailies anymore on multiple characters my enjoyment of the game is over
If you are kicking over 600 dps how are any specs even in the raid outside of the top 3?

When a game focuses on being account progression instead of character progression, it gives people a huge disadvantage who commit to fewer toons.
It becomes almost obligatory to play a stable of alts for any sorta challenging content.
WoW will then be designed with this in mind. The events will be tailored towards having 6 fire mages in the group. Because…well. WoW is an account progression game now. And people can simply change classes to easily be in the right class make up for the event.
You would literally be holding your raid team/guild back if you don’t commit to having a large stable of alts, since alts would be so easy to come by at that point.
If you don’t like character progression games, there are a variety of account progression ones out there. I’d rather not see a base core aspect of the game removed.

This point is so moot it makes me laugh irl.
Guilds that have people swap toons for a boss do it regardless. Nobody in this thread is even playing at that level that would be required.

But things filter down. Meta filters down.
Encounter design would change if WoW was an account progression game.
Right now, they have to make certain assumptions based on raid/group make up. That would be out of the window in an account progression game.
I mean, I could easily dismiss the “BUT I WANT IT ACCOUNTBOUND SO IT SHOULD BE!” point as moot and that it “makes me laugh irl” as well.

Everything going account bound?
Nothing fundamentally wrong with it in my opinion. I’d imagine that would make raiding much easier. Whether that’s a system they’d be willing to go with is another question.

Would it?
Encounters are already being manipulated by raid comp to make it easier, so Blizzard definitely doesn’t care about that.
Example: Immunity classes on Ra-den and Nzoth.

Hello I can’t help but notice you haven’t replied back to my question maybe you could help fill me in how raid encounters would change if things were account bound?
Looking forward to your informed reply!
My alts are in danger? Are you threatening my potatoes?
Well guys problem solved haha.
Building on a great deal of feedback and discussion, we’re working on an update to the game. With the next regularly-scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, players who have earned a given Rank 3 Essence on one character will be able to directly obtain that Essence from MOTHER on any subsequent characters. When playing an alt character that is missing Essences that have already been earned on a different character, most ordinary Visions of N’Zoth activities, such as Horrific Visions, Assau…
End of this discussion ey?
No, I don’t disagree with you. I just can’t refund it because they auto use the game time they give you with the epic version and that eliminates your option for a refund… slick. lol
So since I already have it, I’ll check it out. I usually enjoy leveling and seeing the new zones anyway, but will likely know within a couple weeks if it’s going to stick.
They lost so many people in BfA that SL may actually be their last grasp for redemption. They mess this up and all the “WoW is dying” posters will finally get their day to say “AHA! I Told you!”
Each to their own I say, gl, You think anything is going to change? really you naïve or want it so badly you believe it? this a cash cow now not a game. They really don’t care what they serve up and what peoples opinion on it from Beta are, its set in cement and they won’t change a thing. Every new xpac we expect they will get their act together but they don’t.
Well, the reason I still poke around the forums and played until recently is because there was enough to be interesting and because I’m curious at which point they will either turn it around or it will collapse. It would be silly to keep playing or even posting on the forums if I had zero faith they would ever improve anything and I hated the game entirely. But…
