Focusing iris rank 3 starts you with 2 more stacks than rank 2. Major doesnât increase damage at all. How much of a dps difference would you say rank 3 has over rank 2?
This is basically anyone who disagrees with account bound essences. They write their own narrative about why itâs not needed.

have you played with rank 2 iris before? during fights you have to actually move and reposition which ruins the beam completely without rank 3.

95% of players dont know how to play their class. Doesnt mean they shouldnt have R3 essences on alts if theyve earned them already on their main.

This is some next level denial.
While generally I agree. There is a distinct possibility that you wish to consider swapping mains. If you are already behind the gear curve, being behind the essence curve makes it that much worse.
Some essences have good catchup mechanics like Vision of Perfection. Others like Conflict and Strife, or Lucid Dreams are a pain to farm when you are behind the gear curve or they are time gated.
Alts shouldnât be mains. But there should be better options to catch alts up on things like essences in the chance that you wish to change characters for your main.

You do realize that if you donât have to plan to be set in one place, then you donât have to let it affect youâre ability to concentrate on your overall damage, right?
Last time I checked. The more times you can use something. The better for youâre overall damage. If you can you use it without any regard for needing a windows, and get it in 1 more pull or fight. Then yes. It helps. Alot.
Youâre arguing with someone who has yet to even time a 10 this season. I donât think you should expect much in regards to a reply.
petty fogging the issue isnt going to validate your claim.
Rank 3 iris vs rank 2 has a clear beneficial upgrade by granting mobility, re positioning of the iris beam, and access to a quick minor stacking.
plus, its not a " if you have a window use it " ability. Its a when you have a good time to use it, sit there and cast it. Wasting it on 1 add vs a pack makes a big difference.
