Is there a bug on Eredar twins currently? We had the fight down pretty well, but wiped 17 times tonight because Conflag hit our tanks about 80% of the time. I know there’s some discussion about possible threat issues, like Misdirection not truly transferring threat for the sake of Conflag and a tank getting Conflag targeted while stunned with something else. But we had several pulls tonight where the top threat tank would get Conflag just randomly without any Misdirect or other stuns.
If raw threat exceeds either tank then they will get conflagration. Just tell your dps to chill and let both tanks have a strong lead. You will do more dps as a raid without having the threat cap that comes with tanks being stunned, confounded and conflagrated.
What Rezlack said. Ranged normally has to hit 130% of the raw threat of a tank to pull, but for the sake of conflag that modifier doesn’t exist. Tranquil air totem in your ranged groups is a godsend on this fight.
We’ve had the tanks still get conflagged even when their raw threat is higher. It’s just bad RNG tbh.
I have too and the dps were chasing my heels. Havent had conflagration since when we told dps they are not allowed to be right on the second tanks rear.
not a bug
just bad rng
First post best post. Just because you dont have aggro doesnt mean you arent above the tank.
Any guild that far into SWP should have already made TinyThreat or something similar mandatory. If one DPS is even 1% above Tank threat, the tank becomes a viable conflag target.
not a bug.
Yeah it’s not a bug. Tanks will sometimes get conflag. If the Twin books it upstairs use FD/Shatter or wait for her to get near the top and have the ranged player with aggro hop down. Once conflag fades she will pop right back on the tank.
Hello. My guild is also trying to prog on Eredar twins. Just want to make sure I understand, tanks can get conflag, but it is entirely avoidable if you have the requisite raw threat lead? Thanks in advance.
