Eredar and Ogres

Lets not speak it into the universe, shall we lol.

Me too but not at the expense of another AR.

As much as I would love the Taunka, I have a feeling they will be a customization for you guys before long. A long overdue customization, I might add.

I would rather they be added as a kul tiran option
But im selfish so would rather have them as an allied race than not at all :stuck_out_tongue:

Another episode of me wondering why people want Manari eredar to go horde

i’ve always been in favor of alliance getting some flavor of tauren in exchange for horde getting eredar.
seems like a fair trade. and most tauren are relatively neutral, so its not unbelievable that a group of them might split off and join the alliance, or that we might not discover a new version of tauren somewhere that wasn’t quite as keen on the horde ideology.

I did want to say some form of tauren but I couldn’t think of any that look different enough to stand out as a different race and be alliance material

Could always make up a new tribe but new didnt go down too well with the void elves

Sethrak, Moritz. SETHRAK. You are a gnome now. I WILL throw you.

Someone better be getting them at least.

but it did go down fairly well with the high-mountain, so its not impossible, the only thing i’m struggling with is thinking of a variety of animal that would be suitably tauren but also look distinct enough to stand out as the alliance version.

I want to say maybe some form of goat, although that is already kinda the drenaii aesthetic, but a goat based tauren could look distinct enough from both to work maybe?

Maybe Rhino based ones?

what if they were sheep?
So like white and fluffy with ram horns

Ogres and Vrykuls are the only way to go as far as new races.

Ogres especially are long over due.

I feel a model swap would be best for this hypothetical.
Sethrak can go with jinyu
Both scaley and thats my connection

i was thinking rhino as an option as well, but it might break a little bit TOOO much from the tauren look.

that would be pretty awesome NGL, i would totally roll one… and then give up by lvl 30 ish cuz I still just can’t handle playing alliance no matter how hard i try. but i’d really really WANT to play one.

After Lightforged Draenei, a second Alliance allied race with limited customization based around Draenei would be a bit dull. If they were going with Eredar, I’d rather see a wider breadth of customization based around Eredar offered to the core Draenei race so as to represent a reconciliation. That being said, I would like to see Eredar go to the Horde side. Personally, I’m still waiting for Jinyu to be added to Alliance.

ARAKKOA for the alliance

Yes, they are. I have believed the Horde should have gotten them as soon as they worked out the KT model. Vrykul would be the optimal offset for Alliance, but I doubt Blizz would do that and would instead give us something we never asked for that makes no sense like Leper Gnomes. Heck, even Jinyu would be a good offset though they arent my cup of tea.

But isn’t Jinyu just another nelf model? Sethrak are Worgen model. Essentially.

Remember that time that taunka officially joined the Horde in Wrath? I don’t think you’re going to see them on the Alliance.

Anyways Horde needs, and has needed, ogres. I really don’t know why they aren’t playable yet, there’s far less mental gymnastics necessary for them than some of the races already in game.

I swear, right now in Bfa, this looks like the best the alliance can expect from the devs, in terms of development.
Compromises ™.

For some reason, they would be considered something already belonging to the horde, not to mention that it would be “very laborious” to make a story that explains their entry into the alliance.

They are, but we have gotten exalted with two separate factions of them at this point and they are already set up for the various armors. I would prefer something different, but they are a logical choice.
