PvPers complain a lot
In a PvP game nonetheless, who would have thought?
PvP minigame from the sounds of it what little PvPers are getting ready to quit if they haven’t already
WoW is for PvPing. Raiding is just a nice little side edition.
It takes a lot for us to quit, because there is literally no alternative for PvP that is like WoW, but blizzard is doing there absolute best to test us on that. I’m at that point if no action is taken soon.
You realize that is wrong majority of wow player’s play it for PvE few come for it’s PvP
It is a shame how bad blizz constantly treats it’s PvP community though I will agree with you there
You and I and everyone know that wow is a pve game, the pvp side is a massive minority.
I’m not saying you don’t deserve to have fun in pvp but acting like it’s the majority is strange
Oh man you got him! Enjoy your dead game.
Why would we expect anything to happen after the success of sod faction balancing and the fact that mop had CRZ to make the world more alive… oh wait, neither were added to mop classic.
Keep paying a premium to a triple a dev for a worse experience than the 2012 release.
yup, both sod and fresh are balanced faction wise due to them learning from Classic2019-Classic2022 mistakes. also the classic dev team is much larger than it used to be (thanks to growing and also the end of SoD), and they seem fine with making balance changes in MoP (unlike Cata). Hope they make a change to save Horde PvP.
You are doing your own cause a disservice by pushing away alliance pvers, they should be your biggest ally but you fail to capitalize on it, by telling them it doesn’t matter, you are shooting yourself in the foot, you turned an ally into an enemy and your entire thread into a “lmao ur duelist and being human wouldn’t matter”
remember that pve balance changes are already happening, while pvp are not, its clear which side the developers would choose to spend their time on and having 50 alliance pvers complain about racials is far more powerful than 5 horde pvpers complain about emfh
Horde dogs didnt cry about racials in vanilla/tbc classic.
Phase 2 never 4get.
You deserve all the grief.
nice gaslight post, wow lives and dies based on pvp. Look at SoD widly successful died early on cause the balance was out of whack, only pve’rs stayed and some copium huffing pvpers. But overall the numbers plumeted.
Pve is dog, scripted battles you learn that become a repetetive rngfest that leads to raid logging.
Honestly pve content is only good for the first week or two before it gets gamed and worked out. Its an activity for the mentaly deficient
If you dont know what im talking about then imagine it this way, would you watch the same movie every week over and over and over again?
Meanwhile you got Mobas that keep players engaged with the fraction of the content available in wow, cause most of the conent in wow is irrelevant, its only purpose is to tell a story be fluff in an enviroment where they timegate stuff to FOMO you into doing things and spending money, if blizzard was smart they would make pvp the core of their game and pve a campaign like thing with some repeatability to it
This might be a hot take but I think that racials should either be removed, given the ability to swap or mirrored across faction. God forbid someone want to play the race and faction they want without being punished for it.
Meh meh meh, blah blah blah, grow up.
having 5% of the population play pvp is not enough to dissuade you from this opinion means i won’t be able to either, its complete fantasy
Find a single arena season that has more participation than it’s raid tier counterpart.
Pvp is so much the minority it isn’t even fair to compare tbh.
More(by a crazy huge margin) than people who care about racials in pvp.
As has been repeatedly cited countless times in this thread, this is a total lie. Alliance had slightly more representation on the top end of the arena bracket, but it was roughly 50/50. Perception and stoneform were busted racials that were very competitive with hardiness and will. There has literally never been a season where alliance were not competitive.
In vanilla, alliance were unquestionably better than horde at organized PvP due to them having paladins.
I’m convinced the people who keep repeating this lie that alliance were worse in vanilla/tbc don’t even PvP and just repeat the myths they heard on reddit from faulty private server data. Alliance has always been a great choice for PvP, and horde has never had anything so broken that alliance was a dead faction for half of the game.
Stoneform was good in era but in TBC blind became physical so the whole point of stoneform got removed.
WOTF and Orc were way stronger in TBC.
Stoneform was still very strong in TBC. Rogues not being able to stack wound poison is huge for one example. It was one of the very few defenses against the most broken class in the game.
Perception/stoneform and will/hardiness could be better depending on comp and matchup. Priest/warlock for example is a lot better with human lock/dwarf priest. Perception was straight better for most teams that had a rogue on them.
Perception is only better if you actually get the opener…
All I said about stone form though is that it lost value which it did it lost a lot of value.
