Evoker seems like one of those classes that if you stack a ton of mastery/vers and use saltwater its going to be cracked levels of damage especially in aoe.
plus saltwater to btw. And whatever other modifiers.
are you playing devastation or augmentation?
Devastation of course I don’t think aug is that good in bgs cause its utility has a target cap and its damage is a gimic 1 shot that just got nerfed.

eruption has a damage cap of one target which is split between all nearby targets.
Aug also doesn’t get the talent which reduces deep breath’s cooldown by 1min, and DB is like half your damage in epics as dev.
Could you imagine deep breath with saltwater and songflower with aa in ashran.
Ohhhh. Just thinking about that makes me want to get to 80 faster.
Some of the most fun I’ve had in ashran was on devoker.
Get AA, stealth in behind enemy team, tip the scales + saltwater potion > fire breath > Deep breath > 30 kills secured.

aug gets a talent that reduces all cooldowns, but its not really necessary, the 2m cycle is enough for aug as damage outside of deep breath is more than capable of being lethal.
I don’t think I’ve even seen an augvoker in the game since that one season in DF where they were in every solo shuffle lobby. It’s like they dropped off the face of the earth.
Well aug didn’t exist in season 1 so it was probably season 2 when they first got introduced and everyone knows when something new comes out it’s going to be busted.
Yes, it was season 2 and right in the middle of it if I recall correctly. Then after the spec got toned down they just vanished.
it seems the main reason the spec gets nerfed is because of M+, players and blizzard can’t seem to figure out how to fit in a support spec.
IMO they should just make M+ groups 6 player.
I know next to nothing about pve so I’ll have to take your word on that.
They’re not crazy in normal BGs, but they are a lot better than people give em credit for, even after the nerf to their burst this season.
Their sustain damage is pretty much nonexistent, but their burst is some of the highest in the game, and it happens every ~30 seconds rather than ~1.5 like most classes. It makes them a ton of fun to play in twin peaks / WSG where all you really have to do is nuke one guy.
Also they zoom like a race car.
