Epic BG premades need to be stopped

Same exact thing was said about twinking too, until I started posting scoreboards and VODs of 119 twinks with 80 KB’s and 20x everyone elses damage in a normal BG.

How very main character syndrome of you.

Going back to my 2019-2020 forum history sure is a real treat.

And? So? Well? What?

If you think you have a chance of changing minds, go for it, good luck on your campaign.

But if you use the arguments you have already used, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Twinking was removed because it destroys a game mode that a large majority of people on WoW play, stalling a match and obviously causing people to leave which can be seen on the scoreboard ruins the game mode for anyone who doesn’t have 5 hours to sit in 1 AV while a queue synced 40 man premade farms them, unable to have any chance of even fighting back as the BG is constantly refilling with new players. It’s the exact same conflict of interest that Twinking caused in lower level battlegrounds when newer players wanted to try WoW’s pvp and we just 1 shot and GY farmed over and over, sure those people could stop their exp, wait 1 year for anniversary bosses, farm fully socketed gear with gems and enchants, just to be on an even playing field, just like I could queue sync a full 40 man team, but they shouldn’t have to in order to enjoy the BG, it isn’t how the game is intended to be played, that’s why the premade cap for epic BG’s is 5 players.

I get that you’re upset, but please press enter occasionally.

Well, no, the cap was introduced before epics were their own queue.

If anything, the cap should be increased in epics to 20, in line with the fact that 5 is half most random battlegrounds.

Hardly, new FFXIV patch is in 3 days, my WoW sub ends in 9, I go on vacation in 6, SE actually bans players for stalling matches, it’s just a shame that every time I come back to WoW it’s the same people ruining the fun in the game by doing the exact same thing.

That would definitely be a positive change, as well as keeping the same system of matching premades against premades, that would give both factions more balanced queues that are looking to premade Epics.

dont hate the player, hate the g…
doesnt matter if I like it or not (sometimes like in a GY farm i dont like it either), but premades or whatever you want to call them arnt breaking any rules that necessitate something as harsh as a ban, which is the only reason im posting this

Such a strange turn around.

At first you were calling for bans, now you’d be okay with having a 20 man raid.

In my opinion, if you’re stalling a match to the point where people are constantly leaving and having to take deserter, you deserve to be banned. It’s a different story when just a few people leave, but for the BG to dip down to the " 5 minutes before game ends" only to refill above that and then go back 10 minutes later is pretty bad, especially when not attempting to capture any enemy towers to progress the game faster, it’s clear what these players are trying to do.

No one will ever be banned for the choices of the enemy team.

its also like asking for someone to be banned for having better gear than you and being unkillable by you

Yes because at least with the option to queue with 20 players, that incentivizes players to queue with that large of a premade, instead of just abusing blizzard outdated queue system and organizing in a private community.

The 20 man raid would still have to organize somewhere.

Maybe take your own advice here.

Yes in LFG and in raid chat.

Well, technically, you can organize a premade through LFG right now, if you really wanted.

Raid chat, community chat, guild chat, what’s the difference?

Or are you talking about Discord?

Did you know that you can join the in-game voice chat?

Or paste a Discord link into raid chat?

Discord servers aren’t hard to set up.

Indeed, but that shouldnt be needed to play the game mode on an even playing field, it also would never fill, the BG lfg section is dead.

How can people join when they’re immediately leaving after realizing there’s coordinated teams inside of each bunker with a team dedicated to camping the field of strife with no way to get by without stealthing, and then a team back capping anything the few stealth classes can get. No one wants to play against that, that’s why everyone leaves.

All I’m seeing is excuses.

That’s not my problem. I worked out how to get into a premade, it isn’t hard.

You shouldnt need to be apart of a premade to queue up for a BG and play the match normally, gain honor and gear up. It’s a casual game mode, not meant to be 40 man premaded against mostly solo players. At least when a 5 man premade queues for a 10 player BG, it will match them against another 5 player premade if there is one in queue, which i think is fine.
The fact that over 100 people left my AV in the 25 minutes I stayed in there just shows how much ‘fun’ people are having, allowing this to happen will just continue to hurt the game in the long run.

Luckily, you don’t need to.
