Epic BG premade and those ppl will threat players if we disagree with their failing strat

I was in Ashran random bg today with a partial premade within our group, the lead was marked with skull etc etc. He said AA is up so everyone go roc, right after we killed and looted AA, he immediately called for F4 instead of clearing roc and summon the tree. We wiped at F4 and lost AA as a result. I said his strat was false, we should’v cleared roc, turn in frags while we hve the advantage, we should not have listened to this raid lead. One of his teammate start to threaten to get me banned. This druid the teammate said to me something like he bet he created a nice feeling to me, meaning his threat got me scared and he is feeling good about it.

First of all, premade should not be allowed in random bgs it completely ruins the fun of it. Second, these ppl are behaving like cults, no one is allow to question their strat or they will gang up and mass report to get you banned. Why is it allowed still.

Retail wow, they dont even bother to hide it, the win trading, Botting, queue sync premades, all in the open.

Whoa… that is an extreme response to a valid feedback. Don’t know if its the style of that premade/community but some supporters can be irrational, and cult-like. Curious to know who the lead is, even just the first few characters would help.

The inflated egos of these ‘leaders’ are truly something to behold.

The lead is a Paladin with his name starts with N, their group only has dps and no healer, according to this DH that started talking.

You can turn off Pings, which is nice. You cannot turn off the dumb marks above players heads that leads in raids put (esp friggin addons!). Such is the game. It is what it is. You also cannot ignore addons in /say in raids…no one pays attention to them, idk what they are supposed to accomplish. Anyway…

You can turn off /i chat in chat settings. You can completely disable it if needed in settings.

If you do that, you won’t see these nifty and clever strats. You will see the results, but you’re gonna see the results whatever happens, so knowing what some rando group/premade leader said is kinda shrug…not really needed. Annnd, ya won’t have to get in a debate with the cult leader or their followers! And that is always a nice thing to avoid, if possible.

Q up, have fun!

I was on my disc priest so I had to follow the group and heal them. Healers should get the increase energy regeneration buff from the fires at roc but this raid lead called for F4 right after we killed AA rare, leaving most of the arena and the mobs alive. The entire raid was moving to F4 and I had to use the music box toy so I don’t aggro and look for that buff. After that I went to F4 to heal them, the whole raid wiped and lost AA and our frags, gone with the advantage.

Look u play enough of these and you’re gonna see it all.

Letting one dumb strat ruin the fun ain’t worth it. You’re gonna see a TON of dumb strats.

You’re gonna see sure wins turn into crushing losses cause 1 player joined the opposite team. I saw that recently. Your gonna see sure losses turn into last minute wins. All of it.

It’s random epic BGs. You’re also gonna see Premades cause that is how it is.

Don’t get into debates with 'em. Until Blizz disallows 'em somehow, they there. Work around it.

Edit: One of my favs in Ashran is when the super hero Ret Pali grabs AA and runs into the Horde…FOR GLORY! It’s a brief glory.

Lol  this is such a classic  Now I’m very tempted to create a compilations video of similar feat for a laugh.

[Edit]
Forgot to mention - premade leaders should restrain their members. They must be ready to accept criticism if they dare to lead, and these behaviors really don’t help their image.

I had one of those today, ret looted AA but we all agree to let a geared ranged pick it up at base, a hunter did and we won.

People got really upset when I was grabbing AA as a fury warrior before they gutted our AoE. But I’ve seen so many hunters get gripped in and die or just fail to actually get anything done with it. It’s really more about giving it to someone with a brain than giving it to someone who happens to be on an overtuned class.

I ended so many games with 80+ kills and zero deaths as Deathwish fury in ashran without dedicated pocket healers.

Last Epic BG I played in was Ashran, lucky I landed on the winning side, they was silent, all in voice chat probably, all moved straight to the horde side in the back door killed boss and done. Felt like 2 min long game, fastest I had ever seen before lol. NO WAY that was a pug lol.

No team fight, nothing, it stinks, boring and crappy experience.

oh, i was in this game and got to witness the whole thing, it was a partial premade vs partial premade, ally won the initial ROC fight and took the AA and started pushing the map.

the person wanting to clear roc was one of our healers, ally only had 3, horde team had 6-7.

the ally team got wiped at F4 due to pugs trying to farm roc and just plainly being outhealed in the teamfight, horde took the AA and full map momentum.

one of the 3 healers on ally team stopped healing and sat in base QQing in chat saying stuff like “this is why you clear ROC” (objectively wrong, but we’re all new at some point), and then brought up the social contract and stuff about how people need to treat them better or else risk a ban. they were told that healers have to heal per the social contract or else THEY could be banned and the healer started QQing about being threatened.

horde won the match.

In Ashran’s current state you don’t ‘need’ RoC/frags if your team is strong enough. Summoning the tree/rock can help a bit if both teams are about even. A lot of people who don’t play epic BGs a lot don’t realize this, and it can get a little tiring trying to inform. That said, if both teams are kinda weak, then going for frags/tree/rock is a fine idea, just watch for back door. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for providing another perspective. Without knowing the specifics its too early to draw conclusion. But any form of threatening is no good. Another reason I like to see full replay system (should be simple) get added to the game to help resolve disputes.

Re Roc no right or wrong but I would always prefer to clear RoC whenever possible, at least it would delay the other side from acquire the same resources. Not critical but every little bits help.

Get and use the Kowalski’s Music Box toy before the gates open.

Then you can get the spark without the ogres attacking you.

ROC/Summon is generally pointless because the other team can just kill the elemental. i’ll even tank it right in front of the other team so they can watch it die and demoralize them. in general if your team is strong enough you can keep the elemental alive, you are already strong enough to win the teamfight, so just go teamfight.

Your statement is not true, the Druid started to threaten me to get me banned as soon as I mentioned the raid lead made a bad call and we shouldn’t listen to his strat. Clearly he dare to say something like that is because he is part of the premade and thinking he has the numbers in his side, aka a cult like behavior. I told him threaten ppl in this game violates social contract. I didn’t stop healing, we wiped and we res at base, losing all the advantages of wiping the horde at roc due to that premade lead’s calling to F4 half way thru roc. Fair and square.

To answer the other reply, if you read what I previously typed, I had to use the music box toy and sneak in to get the buff myself, since the whole raid just took a sharp term and left roc, the tools/frags/tome gold mine that win the game.

To answer the next reply, I just came out of a winning game on my monk doing 1B+ healing with the rock elemental on the horde side, your statement about the elementals doesn’t win the game is wrong, it is one of the better strats for a pug, randoms bgs should be pugs period, not mixed with ppl chatting on disc acting like they own the place.

but you were incorrect in this assessment. sitting at ROC and farming fragments would just let their team rush our mage or boss, or come back for ROC round 2. when the other team is a premade they are not just going to sit around and wait for you to summon the tree, they are going to regroup and retaliate fast.

look at your win rate in ashran, now look at mine. I’m right.

Random bg win rates don’t mean anything since I gear my alts in them all the time and the raid doesn’t go my way. The fact you took the time to check my profile just say it all. You are either part of the N-Paladin’s premade or you join Ashran on premade a lot or only in premade, now you are showing off your “win rate” from cheating. Otherwise why would you even look at it, since it is randomly and doesn’t lead by you or me.
