Enough with the bots

I'm hanging out in drustvar picking some flower... and along comes a druid... and along comes a druid... and along comes... srsly!? No lie. 3 druids, all in the exact same path, all stopping to loot the same flower. I managed to report one (and reporting a player kicks you offline, which is weird...) but come on Blizzard - this is srsly ridiculous.
I think I'm going to go on a crusade for bot reporting. Anyone want to join?

No, because it affects my life in zero ways. Just play, have fun.

Uh... no. That stuff impacts the markets. Less people buying my herbs because robots are supplying their demand first.

Also, oversaturing the markets is never a good thing.

Report every bot you see.

Yes, markets in a video game. Zero ways. But if reporting is fun, then go for it! :D
So you just assume they're bots? Drustvar is popular for winter's kiss.

I do.

I was out just a few minutes ago on my scribe trying to get some herbs along the east coast of Drustvar and there was not one single herb note for an entire stretch of the coast. It had obviously been farmed by multiple bots stripping away the nodes so nobody who came long shortly afterwards would get anything.

It wastes my time because I could be doing other things and I refuse to spend valuable gold buying herbs when I have toons who can gather it for themselves. But what chance do I have when bots are ripping it out before I can get there for my share.

Almost every day I see capped druids in starter greens running back and forth along the Brook between Hatherford and Norwington Estate and they are obviously bots because they don't fight back if hit. They just keep trying to pick the herbs. I report them but one day I would like to know that something has been done about them.

All herbs are popular for one reason or another.
All herbs are popular for one reason or another.

Yes, but that doesn't automatically make every person that rides by and picks an herb nearby a bot.

that some thing I force to get use too, Sure I would not mind they add more monsters to knock off player and force to fight hell add elite monsters to stop botting But eh, I try to kill botts in Warmode mostly they just run away

oh well Can't stop them form NPC mobs or well me when I really really bored

Don't believe I said that. After playing this game for a while I am able to recognise the difference.

But if I used bots, wouldn't that mean they DO affect my life in non-zero ways? It's just odd. I visit the forums randomly, and basically find at least 1 person complaining about every single layer of the game. People reporting other toons that are picking herbs, for being bots, that are likely not bots... just cuz they need to be in control of, something. It just seems so petty.

The OP was specifically referring to a multi-boxer.
My guild does this in a raid group. We all run in a big line from one node to the next. When we find an anchorweed, everyone herbs it (with enough guildies, you can get 20+ from a single node) just from everyone picking it.

We all run in a big line from one plant to the next along a path that we use.

We were sometimes doing it with 15-20 players for an hour or two. Three druids and you assume its a bot. nonsense.
I assume it's a bot because of the path it follows. The exact turn it makes, the stop it makes, etc. I don't think a bunch of folks running around together is a bot. That's just silly. No, I know what a bot looks like and I report it.

The fact that I see SO MANY of them.... Well, the number of bots in Drustvar is too damn high!
When they made the node sharing change in WoD I used it when boxing to feed my barns for fur and leather. Come legion with no more free herbs and ore one of my five-man teams only gather. I always lead that team with a druid, but do not have repeat classes in my teams. I lead my teams with tanks because they don't get dazed. I've had people follow me saying they're reporting me and all that nonsense. Have at it... /shrug

I can't honestly say I've ever seen one of these and I've been playing, off and on, since launch. I've seen some dodgy antics but not so sure they were 'bots. You might just be seeing boxers boxing. Really you should be blaming CRZ for the unnecessary competition. Nothing like watching CRZrando123* stripping your server nodes.

Yeah, ok, well, it affects my life in a way, since I use those markets to fund my WoW sub, so....

Yeah.
I get multiboxing... and when it happens it's usually the same server... this is literally the same path, same exact path, not same server folks following it... and they're looting.

I feel your pain on this one. One of the main things i do in WoW is skin farm while watching tv. There is one really good spot for doing this with basically instant respawn mobs, but unfortunately the spot has been being occupied by 2 druid bots (1 bear, 1 boomkin) 24/7 for over a week straight now.

Before anybody asks "how do you know they are bots?", I've managed to pull all of the mobs to my monk statue that was slightly out of the spawn area. The boomkin kept running laps around the area and the bear just kept spinning in place the entire time that i kept the mobs out of the area (which was about 10 minutes). Tell me any legit players that would behave that way?
