Blizz is too busy worrying about how to silence players instead of enforcing the game proper. Vanilla was better alright... Barrens chat was great, indeed.
If Blizz wants to make it easy on themselves they need to say, "If you're a snowflake, turn on the mature language filter or grow a spine. We have better things to do than police thought and speech."

Atleast i'm actually at my pc and doing the farming manually....

There is a bugged addon that causes you to disconnect while reporting. I can't remember which one, probably one that supports botting.
Blizzards "stance" on cheating is just absurd. In any other mmo these players would have been banned within a day. But no, blizzard likes to keep them around for half a year because why not.

They get banned for 3 months, 9 months, 2 years, and then they let them re-sub, its a joke.

Not to mention that by the time blizzard bans them they've already made enough gold to buy enough extra copies of wow + bfa and game time for multiple extra accounts. So they are right back at it within 10 minutes with a new account. Sadly with things like VPNs and stuff, ip bans are pretty useless these days as well.
Those bots paid for Diablo on phones, they'll be going nowhere soon.
This is perhaps what Blizzard seems to call integrity.
This is why we should all take them 102% seriously as an eSport.

11/03/2018 10:47 PMPosted by PapachiMy guild does this in a raid group. We all run in a big line from one node to the next. When we find an anchorweed, everyone herbs it (with enough guildies, you can get 20+ from a single node) just from everyone picking it.
We all run in a big line from one plant to the next along a path that we use.
We were sometimes doing it with 15-20 players for an hour or two. Three druids and you assume its a bot. nonsense.
I am pretty sure an anchorweed node disappears after 10 people loot it (I've joined raid groups with players to do the same thing and they say the same thing). I've seen it disappear when the last person loots it. How exactly are you getting 15-20?

Bots in no way shape or form actually bring money to Blizzard, they are using the gold from botting to pay for their game and game time via tokens. Tokens which are put in to the game via legit players, which blizzard has that $20 before bots even come in to the picture.
Welcome to 2018 where botters don't help blizzard in any real way.

Besides the fact all those accounts are... what, magic? free? Blizzard gave them all life time subscriptions for 0 dollars?
You really believe that?
You think the guys selling the bots wont end up givng half that money, if not all, to Blizzard again, like last time?
How soon we forget.
11/03/2018 10:06 PMPosted by Valhallen(and reporting a player kicks you offline, which is weird...)
I've seen ads for a resurgence of these bots that seem smarter than the old bot program, I also have seen the same complaint you speak of, being DC'd after the reporting process.
not cool

Is it an add-on or is it when you target someone, click report, and they move out of target range before you can finish submitting the report?

.... The game time is paid for with gold... You do know how wow tokens work right?
Pretty sure some of these guys having a cry about you reporting bots, have few bots running around

This is why all addons was a bad idea in the first place.
Addons just created a doorway for botting, period.
They claim addons are "good for the playerbase and community" but that is utter BS.
Good luck, botters and the way they handle them is not going anywhere because of their stance on addons and multiboxing.
As far as getting disconnected while reporting that is more likely a hack.
