Thereās so many because this āā"""""""""""""""""""āvocal minorityā"""""""""""""""""""""""""""" is actually gigantic and wants a version of AV we havenāt had for 12+ years. A version weāll NEVER have another chance to get again. A once in a life time chance to finally get real AV back.

Who is this we you speak of? Cause there is quite a lot of people who are quite happy with the choice they picked which was 1.12 AV.
I donāt really care if they put 1.12 or 1.5 AV into the game they both had there flaws and advantages.
I mean I guess you could try to get a 100,000 people to sign a petition, and hand deliver it to blizzards headquarters. That is how we got classic I believe.

Then why are you running interference for blizzards decision to go with 1.12, when there is clearly a not insignificant number of people outraged by it?
What compells you to push back against those who not only care, but care strongly? What is your motivation?

Because the amount of outrage is dumb, they made the choice sure they could change it but its not like the content progression where they can just say hey thatās a good idea lets do 6 phases instead of 4. They have to recode stuff into the game that they already came out and said they didnāt have complete data before 1.8.
So how can they promise an authentic experience when nobody knows for sure what the values of everything were previous to 1.8? If they came out and said we are 100% sure that we can authentically recreate 1.5 Alterac valley then I am all for it.

Your opinion. The proper amount of outrage is not something you get to decide for others. AV is pretty huge for many of us, like it or not.

They have computers, monitors and I assume people who know how to code. They manage to constantly develop new content for retail from nothing for $15/month. Why should classic subbers expect less than coding something that already existed 14 years ago for our $15/month?

My favorite AV thread was the one with the Venn diagram about anti-vaxxers. At the very least it had the redeeming value of comedy.

If its not authentic then what makes it any different then a private server? That is the entire reason a lot of us want classic. So it is authentic, its not about coding it sure they could code it. But again its about being authenticā¦ if they donāt have the data from back then. Then it makes it no difference then a private server with a blizzard brand on it.

If they go with 1.12 AV it is exactly like giving us what PSs have been giving us for over a decade.
(And no, I do not believe they do not have the data or ability to recreate it. I believe what the blue posted: they thought the NPCs were āhardā and bone chips: āgrossā)
