Thank you for the help and advice everyone. I really appreciate it.

Rely on your auto attacks, you don’t have to cast spells really

no get 2 slows weapons and wf both start auto atk and go watch youtube

Firstly, boost gear is awful. It’s classic 58 greens. They could be 60 and would still be crap vs anything from outlands. Replace all that junk as soon as possible.

As far as shaman goes, I did fine on mine. You just have to know how to conserve mana. Flame shock is your best spell. If you use stormstrike, follow it with lightning shield, not earth shock. It’s far more mana efficient and still uses the debuff charges. I rarely ever used earth shock. I’d just drop a resist totem and let em cast or send it to the grounding totem. Use shaman rage every CD to recoup mana. Tack any other CDs on top of it to get more mana back. Water shield can be nice but I mostly used it to regen while running. In combat, I wanted lightning. When you fight groups, stoneclaw is really helpful. Once you get the earth totem, it can easily bail you out or even tank elite quests. I’ve soloed many a group quest simply by calling in rockman then healing it.

For me personally, shaman is by far one of the easiest class I’ve ever leveled both in original TBC and Classic with the updated talents. Things die so fast with stormstrike and windfury procs.

The key, however, may be to get some good weapons.

Good, slow, one-handed weapons with identical swing speeds. Both of them enchanted with Windfury. Then, you’re good to go.

It goes w/o saying we should remind folks that Water Shield is not available until 62. :kissing_closed_eyes:

I just bought healing gear and went resto. Level up in dungeons.
