Hello, I was wondering if I could get some tips and tricks on leveling a shaman. I’ve heard that for general solo leveling, enhancement is the way to go.
What kinds of weapons should I use? 1H or 2H?
Talents? Do I prioritize blocking or mana at first?
What are the best totems to use (other than Earthbind, I learned how to kite a few days ago)
Both icy-veins and tbc.wowhead have leveling guides for Shaman.
Stick with a two-hander until you have access to the Dual-Wield talent. Use Rockbiter for the best DPS.
Ancestral Knowledge is one of the worst base-tier talents ever, but since you won’t be using a shield, you should choose it over Shield Specialization.
Searing Totem is really mana efficient. It’s useful to have spitting at your target in-between your swings.
Once you get dual wield things start getting really fun and fast-er… lol
For sure. Between that and Stormstike/Earth Shock, it’s a much more pleasant playstyle than vanilla Enhancement.
Vanilly shaman makes me sleepy
