Engineering item, H.E.L.P

What are the chances this thing ever becomes even slightly useful? I’m banking on next to 0, although I crafted it anyway for some reason. Nice thought on their part.

That might actually be useful for raid leading.

I have such a hard time with engineering this expansion for some reason. Although I got the schematic for this and learned it. So i’m hoping to make use of it eventually lol.

Professions being Craft Order based for leveling above 50 makes engineering feel dead in the water for me. I’m on a low pop realm with my engineer and it sucks lol.

I genuinely don’t understand how people are all level 100 on their professions when there’s no crafting orders ever.

I bought the recipe for Alarm-O-Turret from the AH, which should get me to 75. I might stop caring at that point. I just want to unlock another specialization so I can make the Wyrmhole Generator a little more useful.

I have seen it go off once, iirc its like an orange text on screen with a sound bite?
Shadowlands had some nice options, which sadly were adjusted to 60 Max.
Fun detection > current game tuning where it’s really needed.

I’ve only shot them off, and from my perspective, it’s just a flare that goes up pretty high. If it brings up text and sound, that would be better than I imagined.

Maybe somebody saw how many players have BG chat turned off, they designed something to Help. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I’m having such a hard time with all professions in this expansion. We traded in Gear upgrades for renown to profession upgrades with renown. With extra steps. I think the talent upgrades are a cool and interesting thing for professions, but it’s so oversaturated and time-consuming to grind that I find myself caring very little for it.

I think a flare gun is meant more for an army that doesn’t have chat open with all its members. EDIT: Guess it could be useful for new players, I remember being confused by messages like “5 INC DR” when I first started rather than fire a flare gun if you get in trouble and look for the flare gun and go there. A lot of warning text gets published posthumously.

I don’t mind this part as much as the pieces to level from 50-100 being virtually impossible to solo farm in a timely manner. You NEED to do crafting orders of a high tier. Which there are none of depending on your profession / server. Which means you’ve to basically beg in trade with an underleveld profession against max rank people.

I absolutely LOVE the profession system outside of this. And don’t understand how people have been lv 100 blacksmithing etc for weeks, Was there some exploit or something?

Yes, of course there were methods to advance faster than others.

Do you have an elabouration or explanation for that or is it just “there was a way, it’s gone now.” and we’re forever behind for having not done it?

What happens in fight club.
But yes, there were ways to go about advancing faster than others.
Just the same as Trophies of Strife. Not everyone involved was handled in the same way.

“It’s not that big of a deal”
“Did it effect you?”

Yes. Haha. I’m stuck behind the competition in a buyers market.

But yeah makes sense that you can’t speak to it. I assume it was nerfed.

Here is another one, an MVP from GD didn’t have Honor Reset for DF launch.

Did this effect me personally, no.
Interesting to see a continuous pattern of these blunders as of recent.

I know there were some early on exploits, and a lot of bans were thrown around because of it. But I don’t know the details.

I think the only profesion that had expoits was alchemy and blizzard pusnished everyone with that profesion even though they didnt do the exploit.

that can net you to 75? I didnt knew that although how in gods name is engineering suppose to reach 100 then the goggles or the wrists? That’s ridiculous.

Googled dragonflight exploit and tailoring bans came up so it might be a few professions idk.

Yeah. It seems poorly thought out since a decent chunk of the engineering patterns require engineering. So theres not ginna be many orders outside of the stuff we provide other professions with.

I went explosive spec and it feels awful and expensive lol.
