Engineering belt

What do you guys use?

The nitro boost seems to fail more than it works so I recently swapped to the knock back. CC’ing someone who steps too close to the cliff edge and sending them over is pretty fun. The 10 minute cd is awful though. That’s just one troll moment per bg on most games.

Want a knockback every 45 sec.?.. play a shaman

The Nitro Boost doesn’t seem to effect players at 50. I tried using it in Raid last week between trash and it fired off fine but my run speed did not increase. I did not see a tooltip change indicating a level restriction.

For the other BFA enhancements I have tried all 3 three and you are right, the 10 min CD on such a lackluster “enhancement” is a troll. I don’t even bother with them anymore. Since the Corruption Cloak I have been buying my gliders too which takes away another Engineering Perk. I hope that they don’t level cap Gliders to cloaks in SL.

Some folks use alchemy speed pots instead as apparently it offers the same movement speed increase without the opportunity for it to backfire. I’m not sure what that pot shares a CD with though. If it doesn’t lock out saltwater / third wind / etc. then I may switch as well.

That’s just how it works in raids. I don’t think it backfires in those settings but the movement speed increase it gives is negligible. It’s fair enough, wouldn’t want every raider to feel like the have to be an engineer.

It worked fine before the patch. Now I do not get the speed increase. I get the animation but the speed remains the same.

I’ve been trying to use all mine up lol. I’m just trying to figure out what others use on their engineering belt.

That’s how it was for everyone before the patch too (in raids only).

Always nitro boost. Nothing else matters, especially with 10 minute CDs. If it could be used rated gameplay then it might be a different story.

Do you notice a higher fail rate than normal? It could be from where I have went so long without playing a class with engineering and recently swapped to one that did and it’s been like this for a while.

I don’t feel like the failure rate has changed to a noticeable degree. I don’t use it too often so maybe my sample size isn’t large enough to distinguish anything.

i use it a lot and seems the same to me.
i think there shouldn’t be a fuel leak though, seems odd for this one thing to have a con that will basically kill you in pvp.
