So… I was able to create my goggles without any issue however when I equip them they automatically un-equip. They continue to do this. There are NO unique gems in my helms. The ONLY way I can get the items to stay equipped is to put all other helmets in my bank and then finally drag the item to my character screen. This is beyond bugged. I tried to put a ticket in game about it but that feature is not working for me… this is ridiculous.

Ill also note that it does this still with all addons disabled.

Hard to say if not addon related and there is no others reports so far.
I thought it might be autocrop or something else so I just disabled everything and like I mentioned its still un-equipping them. I have reloaded UI, re logged and im beyond frustrated. I have talked to a few others with the helmet and they are not having these issues.
It should be noted then when I do put all the helms in the bank and then equip the helmet the moment I drag another helm back into my bags it will again auto un-equip the goggles.
They are working for me =/
But without any addons… its strange.

I wish I could use them, I mean I was so pumped to make them and use them and I can’t. I can’t even open a ticket about it in game. I’m kinda at a loss of words on my dismay with this issue.
Reinstall the game or delete both Interface + WTF, you most likely have an addon that permanently modified the standard interface and is messing up with your game.
