Are enemies supposed to only show % hp in TBC?
I notice with allies sometimes display will swap from actual value to % too, seemingly due to how far away they are from me.
I’m aware certain addons will show hp values, but I’m just curious if this is intentional.
Correct, that’s the way it was. You can see mana pool tho.
i think Cata introduced actual hp values.
Its in your interface settings. You need to select “Both” if you want to see both percentages and health. There are also addons that help with this if you dont want to mess with any of that.
Pretty sure the addon is called Target Health and Target Percentage but you can search on curse for them
You can use the addon ModernTargetFrame to display enemy mob HP numbers. Enemy and ungrouped players will always only show % HP. That’s just how it is.
