Since Patch 1.15, enemy cast bars can now be shown without the use of third-party library addons. This is a very welcome change. However, cast bars still seem to be missing for all channeled spells, such as the Warsong Blademasters’ Bladestorm, Mage’s Arcane Missiles, etc. The default UI does not show them at all, and there is no information about them from the APIs UnitCastingInfo or UnitChannelInfo, unless the unit is player.
