You can get pretty beefy without doing rated pvp, raids or M+ but it takes time.
This character was geared via world quests, conquest capping using assaults and CTA, weekly quests, and horrific visions. Also did some Heroic Darkshores, but thatâs pretty easy, people invite almost anyone to groups for it.
Horrific Visions are probably the best source of casual gear, despite being very boring.
No, youâre suggesting that time played should be a metric for how good of a reward you should get. Thatâs not even remotely a metric that should be taken into account.
Perhaps if you keep running into these, "D bag"s, the problem isnât with others. I didnât have that problem myself.
It seems to me that you want to just whine that you canât get a better reward without having to do hard content, and want to blame others for why you canât do that hard content.
If you want to get better gear, focus on getting cloak levels asap.
Better cloak = higher clears of Horrific Visions = better gear.
Unlock the Elite Extermination and final skills in the Titan research as soon as possible, they make a huge difference in clearing visions.
Keep an eye out for Tortollan Emissary with gear rewards as well for rings and trinkets.
You can consider doing conquest capping for some 445 and eventually 460 gear via random bgâs or simply doing things like the rotating BFA zone assaults.
The weekly that is active right now offers a random heroic raid item for doing 4 mythic dungeons. They arenât much harder than heroics and groups are plentiful.
Also keep an eye on the corruption vendor and save Echoes until some good ones are available like 12% haste or gushing wounds.
Youâve got lots of room to grow at only 444 avg item level and plenty of slots under 445.
There is a lot of people in this game that feel like casual players shouldnât have fun. That there should be no progression for us. They think the only way to play this game should be what the current end-game content is. They will always push to keep it that way. And when ever something like Titanforging is introduced or some sort of AP grind which lets you progress your character outside of instanced content they will do everything they can to get it removed. These players are selfish and donât care about the other side of the spectrum. They only care about their own side of things, and want the peasents to worship at their feet. They want people to have loot envy.
Edit:
I wanted to edit this. Iâm unsure how to make this comment come off less aggressive without losing the full message of what I was trying to say here. So I will just say. This post was not intended to be an attack on anyone. It is simply a message which is loaded with some emotion. When I speak of people wanting peasants to worship at their feet. This is me trying to convey how these actions feel to myself and others like myself. If you feel like you are being attacked by this but the things said donât really match the way you feel or act. Then itâs not about you. I intentionally had this message left vague so it could be about anyone, or noone at all. As I didnât want anyone to feel under attack. If I somehow offended anyone here⌠Please accept my apology as that is not now, nor is it ever my intent. Even if sometimes my words come from a place of raw emotion or occasional bitterness. I will always endeavor to not make it personal. I acknowledge however I often do fail at this. But if you communicate with me, Iâm always willing to re-read what I said and attempt to edit anything offensive.
If you only play casual content, you donât need âtrue endgameâ levels of power. Play the game and get rewarded for trying challenges. Slower traffic bear right.
Lol look at all these posts saying casuals donât need or deserve better gear. For PvP, yes we do need it. Anything else can be completed without it at lower difficulties.
I mean, the only way to get better gear past what is available (which is far, far more than was available in the past and through far more ways to gain it), is to do harder content⌠and the reason for that is because the harder content requires that gear.
PvP is the same as PvE. You lose to people who are more skilled than you are.
