END War Mode!

100% a newer term. Everyone said they wanted vanilla WoW.
Not a single person called it classic.
Even in discussions about that time people make the distinction between classic and vanilla, all because classic is just a facsimile of vanilla not actually vanilla.

I wonder if you don’t realize that you do it. That would explain much.

Just because you hate context and love to misunderstand things doesn’t mean any “rules” have changed. As much as I love to watch your insane rants, there’s nothing to argue here. You’re just looking for any excuse at this point.

His argument is pointless anyway because classic IS a catch all term but most people use it these days to refer to where the player base is.

They’re in SoD btw, which also just had a phase release.

It’s hilarious he calls it trash considering the devs actually try to balance PvP and also have nerfed runes and spells. Also people die in SoD unlike retail.

???

I must be crazy, because WPVP in retail aint bad atm, to me. There’s just not anyone out, Horde side, unless you drag them out.

Fights last too long, and most of the groups in small scale have multiple healers, usually prevokers or disc priests who refuse to oom or die.

Dps vs dps can be fun, just depends on what class. If they’ve been gifted immortality like some champion of Chaos then it is almost as unfun as fighting healers.

Generally, yes. But I have to say Horde has been killing it in Ringing Deeps today. Lots of competition outside the FFA areas.

that so true , and so sad, the FAKE CLASIC, has nothing of the original clasic.
on that time you needed to use your brain in a dungeon, make friends, and enjoy the death, every time you fail, laugh a lot of the parnerst that used to die every pull and thing like that. today they use almost the same sistem of retail, ILV and runt and kill run and kill af fast as you can, and if you memorise the dungeon, you dont need to use the brain anymore. almost the same of M+.

Man the echo chamber on these forums is somehow worse than Reddit.

WM revitalized world PvP and continues to be better than it ever was prior.

Shadowlands was a drop just because gearing was a pain and they removed sparks type quests.

I play on an essentially dead server and lower activity battlegroup (kalecgos realm on my mains) and constantly get to engage in 1v1s or in large group battles or 5v5s in the world. This is all because of warmode.

You can pry it from my cold dead sub cause I’ll honestly say it was the best addition to this game probably since mythic+ or even transmogrification.

Over sharding and the lack of world pvp objectives has WM feeling exactly like dead servers use to feel.

BFA warmode was at least more interesting due to the invasions.

after the so beautiful was the pvpworld in BFA , you can imagine how i hated shadowlands, for me the worst of the worst expansions in wow ever.
but now its no so bad. i meant dependt of your server, becouse i enjoy the war mode a lot.

Man war mode is so lame compared to PvP servers. Pvp servers are so much better

If no one complains, a whole segment of the playerbase (most interested in world pvp) will find much less satisfaction from their play.

They’ve mostly left so it’s a moot point and they are on wow classic now, or they are playing cheese builds in elden ring pvp.

But the killer player type is in it for the grief.

Server only communities were dying from cata onwards, things like warmode saved wpvp. Over sharding and lack of content is what has killed wmode.

Not remotely true, wpvp has always had way better fights than bgs or arena as the amount of strategies and tactics is more varied because it’s no holds barred chaos.

I went and ganked easily accessed lowbie places to entice max level players to come.

I still remember in MoP leveling a rogue in Mount Hyjal and ganking this guy on my leveling rogue so much he came out with his max level to kill me and I already had mine parked in the zone.
Then went on a killing spree until the whole zone basically erupted into a war zone for a few hours.
Some of the best pvp that session.
