End the war on solo gameplay in WoW

What, can dish it out but can’t take it? Just about everythign you have ever said in this topic has been insulting to someone

Oh, and as far as that Mr. Solo player comment, that is one reason I call you out so much. This toon alone has:
AoTCs from most raids, including CN and SoD
Close to KSM for the season

In fact, you would know this if you even took a peek at my profile, but I suppose, since I am here, arguing for more solo progression I fell in to that “whiney solo player” group to you.

One thing you don’t seem to grasp is I am a hybrid content wise, I want a way to upgrade my M+/RAID gear that I can make progress towards with solo content. The other part is so I can get my alts up to a point I can group with them and not be a detriment. A system I want would allow solo players their progression, but ones like me would still have more.

Agree there. It should have been the same type of system.

Mythic plus is already like a better version of visions of n’zoth without a solo mode. Its the solo mode I miss. Torgast already has the ability to turn into solo or group mode depending on party members.

I just want to play and level my alts solo.

This season I will be chasing tier gear anyway, but solo modes would be greatly appreciated on sup optimal alt builds just for fun.

Offense is always taken, never given.

Just the ‘whiney’ portion really.

You can literally do that now. Both the Vault and the over-generous Korthia upgrades give you that filler. Why on Earth would Blizzard need to re-invent the unicycle a third time?

Did you really just flex aotc achievements and brag about almost being KSM?

Wasn’t going to point that out, by the way.

I don’t know, I just don’t recall hardcore and casual being defined by time-investment since I’ve been playing games. Maybe I’m out of a loop or something. I mean, by that criteria, hardcore pornography would consist of eight hours of foreplay.

This isn’t a solo gameplay issue then, it’s Blizzard being incompetent.

Also I feel like it shouldn’t have to be said but I will say it anyways, if you’re looking for a more solo friendly environment in an MMORPG then the problem lies with you and not Blizzard.

Dev incompetence and/or arrogance is definitely an issue when it comes to the design of literally everything in SL, except raid and dungeon encounter design.

WoW has always had a separate, inconspicuous solo progression lane for players like me, until Blizzard intentionally nuked that to prop up raid participation in SL.

Note: It is never my goal to avoid contact or gameplay with others, I just am not comfortable with relying on the “three pillars” for the simple act of progressing in power.

Don’t forget what that first “M” stands for in MMORPG. Both group and solo players need to have content and rewards if you want the sub numbers.

Nah, I was just dreaming concerning Korthia. To me 233 was close but not quite there. I hope 9.2 is better than that. I don’t expect to one shot any mob, just enough to make it fun to fight, like multiple mobs at once. Since I’m limited to what I can do. I guess I’m a dreamer. :upside_down_face:

Yea I don’t like my personal power potential /growth limited by what I do with others. I tend to enjoy mmos for the occasional pve and pvp. I like the craftimg, and gold making aspects. Occasionally I help people out.

I like solo modes for power progression because there is no queue its just you. You play when you want. Something I didnt like about Korthia was waiting for rares to spawn for research. They added a farm option but still its something best done in groups more like a chore.

I would say even Legion did rares better with how they were designed, they respawned quickly but weren’t up all the time on Argus. I preferred that style. You didn’t feel like you missed out on a rare and had to wait another hour for another chance.

That’s exactly how I am. I am sure we are not alone.

Legion did literally everything better. BfA was like a messy copy-paste job of Legion. And then SL came along with its maliciously designed, grindy rewards systems.

I miss when you could rank up crafted profession armor that was nice. Did all the class hals on my alts.

Shadowlands was horrible in comparison. The amount of times I had to do the same boring campaign. Sheesh just to unlock the soulbinds.

Oh, that explains it. You have the ‘Final Fantasy’ Disease.

If wow was designed like a final fantasy the best weapons would come from like a minigame. Ahh ffx was fun.

It’s more like a Wrath, MoP, or Legion disease. You never recover after experiencing the good expacs.

(I didn’t even try FF14 until SL came out.)

You will never get better than heroic level loot as a catch up. Thats almsot delusional level dreaming right there.

This is the biggest lie in the thread

You clearly don’t understand how progression or reward vrs difficulty is.
