The honor system is terrible!! It forces people to take the most efficient manner possible to get gear. Sure you can decide to not premade, but that would add a ridiculous amount of time to the already horrible grind that R14 is. The honor system is what caused premades. 100% win rate with 8 minute games is the only way to get r14 that doesnt require Methamphetamines or some other very unhealthy life changes. Even with premades, it is still a very horrible grind.
You’re delusional. You’re complaining that a system that was designed to reward time and effort over skill is unfair because you’re not willing to put in said time and effort.
Then it’s time for all pugs to walk away from this stupid game. Premades really expect us to stick around and give them free crap at our expense? No. We’re pushing to stop this crap once and for all. I really hope premades are happy with making a lot of people’s time absolutely miserable. Zero shame from premades. What a disgusting community you guys are. No, it’s not. Game theory suggests that since we’re making a game meant to be played to be enjoyed, we should make the gameplay enjoyable.
Pugstomping isn’t enjoyable for the pug, and isn’t challenging or fun for the premade – this is because matchmaking a pug against a premade results in an unfair situation.
As such, the argument grounded in game theory suggests we should change matchmaking to generate fair matches, because that will result in more enjoyable gameplay.
The reward stands simply as an incentive to engage with the content. Getting new upgrades is enjoyable because they increase the power of your character, and that’s the point of the game.
At this point reward is taking precedence over enjoying the game.
How is my effort of playing the game of less equivocal importance than your “effort” of getting 9 people to carry you?
While that’s true, implementing a guard rail to ensure a higher quality of gameplay allows the honor system to continue unabated without negatively affecting it.
The only reason why the pvp system is garbage is because premades are allowed to exploit it. If you remove that element of the system it becomes significantly healthier as far as gameplay is concerned.

I don’t disagree, the only time I queue for pvp is when there a guild group going. Solo queueing is a compete waste of time. And tbf the same applies to world pvp. The scorched earth tactics that took place on a lot servers is was gave us this unbalanced mess we have now. World pvp should’ve never rewarded honor, and whoever thought a world pvp only phase was a good idea should’ve been fired.

No offense but if premades can’t farm pugs your honor caps drop like a rock.
You’d spend exactly the same amount of time and reap the exact same reward, you just wouldn’t be doing it at the expense of other people’s time and effort.

There is a minimum amount of RP required for certain ranks regardless. It would certainly have a huge impact on the length of the grind. Once again, learn the system before posting.
