The chances of blizzard banning boosts are basically nil because they donāt care about the health of the game at all. If they did we wouldnāt have 3 servers for Anni with them forcing the community to paly on a megaserver if they want to play Anni.

You canāt change boosting without fundamentally changing the game and how certain classes are played, you are literally asking to make the game worse so you donāt have to think about people getting boosted who you will never interact with.

They donāt want to fundamentally change classic to appease the most toxic players, its not like gdkp where they donāt have to change anything and they ban it, banning boosting would involve changes to the client.
Megaservers are the only way to keep the game healthy, look at Maladath from wrath, or maladath from fresh. People start jumping ship the moment the pop doesnāt look healthy leading to dead servers and unhappy players.

If you want to argue that it makes the low levels dead, then youll have to accept the low levels will stay dead regardless. People who boost will refuse to level no matter what you try to force them into

I literally had a year-long argument with the person so I decided to apply to their guild and had their officer tell me that I was going to replace theyāre lowest performing Hunter which was the person on the forum I was having the argument withā¦

Back in Vanilla(2005, so pre-YouTube) I rolled on JubeiāThos and started leveling my warrior(2nd Vanilla 60).
When I was around level 35ish(I was in STV killing Gorillas near the river beside the Ogre compound) an EQ2 guild rolled on the server and made a post on the realm forums that said something like:
We are <Guild Name> the #1 EQ 2 guild in the world and this server belongs to us now. If you kill any of our players we'll camp you until you stopped playing.
So I posted a screencap of me killing one of their players in response to the thread.
They spent the next week camping me whenever I went into the open world and actively tracking my location with a secondary account because you couldnāt have both factions.
I was running SM and they were whispering me calling me a coward for running a dungeon.
I ended up posting a video that Iād recorded with FRAPS of them camping me with like 10-20 people in STV.
They said something like āWeāve wasted 3 hours fo your time and thatās all youāre going to post?ā
So I posted āThereās ten of you, Iāve wasted 30 hours of your time.ā
I mean thatās nothing.
This dude was talking about how valuable he was to his guild and all his social connections.
And I had them say who I was replacing as I applied.
So the dude who was spouting all of this was going to get replaced by the guild he thought he was too valuable in.
Aināt none of you doing that kindd of stuff.
The only reason they even mention me on those discords is cause Iām the best and I live rent free in their heads.
