Did Wrath introduce the vellums that allowed an Enchanter to mail or auction enchants?

Vellum was added in wrath along with the inscription profession which made the vellum. I don’t think you could buy it from a vendor until some later patch in wrath.

Prior to patch 4.0.1, different types of vellum were needed depending on the level of the item to enchant or the type of enchantment; now, all enchantments can be applied to a single all-purpose Enchanting Vellum. Old vellums were converted to [Ruined Vellum], which turns into Enchanting Vellum when used.

it happens, i didnt remember the ranks, but i did remember using vellums to give enchants to alts instead of hoping someone wouldnt log out when i handed them mats. and i remember leveling Inscription with vellums. still dont really remember the ranks, but as i think about it its sounding familiar.

I rebember selling alot of glyphs, the wirlwind was the most expensive following by some of the dks
i was the only one with a scribe in my guild, so virtually all my glyphs went into the gbank, and vellums to my alts or guildies. but JC was where i made the majority of my gold in wrath… that and having like 8 lvl 80’s and maxed all professions…

Yes. No more “LF ENCHANTER” every time you get a new piece of gear.
Better question: Will TSM be able to calculate the values of Enchantments in Wrath.
((From what I’ve been told, Enchanting isn’t like the other professions. There’s API calls that TSM needs, that Enchanting doesn’t have at the moment.))
There’s Armor Vellums and Weapon Vellums going to from rank 1 to 3 with 3 being the one level 80’s wanted, 2 only being able to take level 60 and below enchants and 1 taking enchants that don’t have a level requirement.
As for acutioning/mailing them I’m not sure but I hope we can, would save having them in my bank of my main for ages.

Vellum came in wrath as part of the inscription profession. In cata they were put on the vendors. I would expect them to be on the AH as one of the items being sold.
