It says “target is too low level”. Are there different vella needed now, and if so, how does one obtain them?
Edit: Huge thanks to Kogitsune who posted below. You can work around the problem by buying an Ultimate Gnomish Army Knife in the AH. All you need is to have it in your bags.
2nd edit: Looks like Blizzard fixed it*, just hours after the work-around was discovered.
*(The fix apparently breaks the ability to apply older non-Shadowlands enchants). The cynic in me is screaming to say more, but I’ll just let this rest.

Imagine being in a profession and getting ready to sell for the new expansion but then your profession breaks 
And then people buy the enchants and re sell them for 10,000%+ profit each. Feels good. lol It’s broken right now, and no one seems to notice or care, at least from what I see in Blizz responses on twitter and stuff

I went to make enchants for my own characters because Celestial Guidance was at 3000G at AH, have all the mats and cannot do it, the cost of mats approximately 1000 times lower than AH - way to instill confidence in the new professions blizzard

This is ridiculous. Went to buy some for my alt and saw the price and figured it was just scalpers. Now I see why the prices are so high.

Confirmed also happening to me. Cannot enchant a Vellum with a Shadowlands enchant. “Target item is too low level”

No, of course that’s not what happened, I just tend to imagine the worst possible paranoid fantasy when things go wrong. Nasty habit. During an expansion launch, I suppose this is one of the more benign coding errors that could pop up. Still, super annoying and not what you’d expect from an industry giant.

Please fix this. Honestly surprised people aren’t blowing up about it more. Too busy being dragons I guess, which is fine, but this seems like a major issue going into a new expansion no?
