Yes, That is the reddit post.
Ah, that is also partly my mistake as well, still focusing on the subject. Where I shared the official stance of Blizzard in my first post, I still stand thus:
From selling materials to directly enchanting.
I wouldnât trust everything posted to Reddit.
Some people there have a tendacy to spread mis/disinformation in-regards to Blizzardâs policies for one main reason. If there was no screenshot of the such post, assuming that the screenshot wasnât edited or altered to go along with what was mentioned, I wouldnât trust somethings others say.
Keep in mind, if they did get actioned for selling the services in the trade channel too, couldâve been selling carries for gold. But we here canât confirm anything.
Yeah he has no screenshot saying he got in trouble for advertising enchanting in the Trade Channel. He has a text quote where he claims it was related to his penalty but I am going to bet we are not seeing the whole story here.
Advertising Professions in the Trade channel are fine. That is what it is for. SPAMMING them is not so if the he annoys enough people a GM may agree it feels spammy.
Again, that whole bit about the wrong channel is not even a screenshot and no proof it is connected to his account action, or that it is connected to Enchanting.
This is all a one sided reddit story⌠Never ever take the internet at face value.
Awesome that you are asking for policy clarification though. That is what this forum is for. It is an Info Desk to explain policies, help folks navigate support tools, etc. We also have coffee.
