spec changing and dual spec aren’t actually the same thing.
This may be true. I don’t know, and don’t claim any knowledge to whether it’s true or not, but it seems like a relatively reasonable assumption, imo.
The question that I am left with is whether the game design during TBC was such that it intentionally deterred people from respecc’ing. If that is the case, then any change to make respecc’ing easier/better is against the intended game design.
With regards to actual dual spec, I don’t think it’s a good solution at all. If respecc’ing frequently, or even infrequently is desired, I think there are much better solutions.
It definitely changed the game, but whether it was for the better or not, I’d like to know why you feel so confident that it was a good change.
I think ultimately it was a bad change.
(1 reason that makes me think it was a bad change is that it increases the responsibility for the classes and specs that require the most responsibility)
