Yeah this is really good! It means they’ve got the recipe all ready and they’re passing it around to people inside Blizzard to see what they think.

Next step is most likely a Beta of some sorts! :slight_smile:

Calling a June 21st release date for classic. Timed perfect for the longest day of the northern summer solstice and also because it’s get phuked up Friday…

So you guys got excited and forgot to tell us the other day? This short to the point post screams “I have to get back to leveling”.

Frankly, all that shows is that Tips is unreliable at best, imo it’s really unfortunate that he is the most recognizable classic youtuber atm. Don’t lump them all together with him.

Agreed.
I say they were going to announce beta but ran into some issues they weren’t expecting. Tried to apply some hotfixes but didn’t get to the root of this problem I just made up so they couldn’t announce beta hence why we got an update at 12am/9pm pst announcing internal testing because they knew they’d have to give us something to settle us over the weekend.

I think you’re onto something my gnome friend! Throwing that up with no info was either trolling us, a giant boo boo, or stimulus to see how us lab rats would react. A post this late on a holiday weekend screams conspiracy…
I’m not even sure that’s the real Borny. This post does not sound like his normal charming happy go lucky self. Was Borny hacked? Are CM’s sharing accounts? Is Borny really an advanced AI programmed with charm and a knack for calming massive groups of people down when they are about to riot?
Inquiring minds want to know!

This is to me is good news. Blizzard has now gotten to the point where they are deploying the code to the launcher and doing initial stress testing, login server testing and starting zone alpha.

If this internal testing phase lasts until the end of may, that means beta will begin during the first week or two of June.

If that beta lasts 4-6 weeks that takes us into mid July, and release.

This is a good testing schedule.

I really want to see the client in action, and get some nostalgia out of my bones. (That sounds really weird, I know.)
