It’s not going to be an early summer release. Probably September or later.

I’m becoming more convinced now that “…Classic summer…” meant that summer would be spent developing it and it would release later. Would not be surprised if we are still 6+ months away.

“Soon” is relative. And the beta IS coming soon, since we assume it will follow the alpha.

Only if they release without a beta should we say that Tips didn’t know anything.

We all want classic, but don’t you think you are wasting time and resources with this internal alpha test? A lot more would get done with a beta. Personally, I think you are messing with us and covering your tracks… at least I hope you are.

  2. I am fine with an internal alpha, and do not see it as a waste of resources.
  3. I agree that an open beta would be a good thing

I really hope they do not ignore the benefits of an open beta, not least of which would be cutting down on potential launch tourism.
