'Embrace of the Loa' Followers respect & Acknowledgement

I was on the PTR, playing on a Zandalari - and after choosing a Loa to follow with ‘Embrace of the Loa’, I went to that Loa shrine, to see what dialog / reaction the Loa would give.
There was none … Gotta say I was a little underwhelmed & disappointed. I figured some - any, reaction would be better than none.
Like if one chose Bwonsamdi, everytime you were at Graveyard / Anywhere on Azeroth - he’d be there like "Aaaaaye! One of my favourites! Get back to yo body ~ We got plans … ", Pa’ku with “You been teaching those who dare breathe our air, where their place is? Hmm …” or Kimbul “My noble follower, your bravery roars loud; and makes our pride proud.” and so forth.
I really enjoy the Loa lore & storylines, and would love to see more of it; but I feel this (Even despite it being small / cosmetic / aesthetic) would be highly satisfying to include to the game.

That would be cool.

Agreed.
Would also like to see other shrines of Loa that are mentioned in the game. :open_mouth:

I’d love this, but you know full well the Alliance will go nuts if this were to happen.

Give the Alliance Night Elves a ‘Wild God’ dialog function, perhaps a buff from one they visit time to time, that lasts for 3 days (So its not totally an ‘additional racial’). Or … Give each race (Every, race) a dialog which fits in good correlation with their race. Such as dwarves having unique dialog with Earthen / Titan-forged Dwarves, Humans being muttered about infront of Humans, Draenie being aknowledged by Naaru, Dragons referencing the Sunwell / Quel’Thalases protection against them to the Blood Elves and teasing the exile they have from those lands to the Void Elves and so forth.
Perhaps Blizzard could eventually extend on this with class-specific dialog too, like they did in Legion (Is always aesthetically entertaining).

Is it considered gluttony or greed when Horde players ask for more things?

I doubly ask this question for when what they are asking for more for is the Zandalari.

Its a cosmetic function, that I am suggesting. To which I added the suggestion they do for all races.
I say to all that pull that typical ‘That’s OP’ or ‘Gluttony / greed of you to request that’ baloney, that’s just spite fuelled intentions to derail something that would be beneficial to fuel joy & splendour to those that enjoy and love the game, especially the lore.

Meanwhile, the Kul Tirans get to swim faster.

Stop. Oh wait, you mean that’s the equivalent to YOUR FREE GOBLIN GLIDER? My mistake.

Meanwhile, the Kul Tirans get a useless +5 to Professions.

Stop.

Just. Stop.

Meanwhile, this suggestion is cosmetic.

A suggestion for dialog feature. It does not alter their ability to move faster, get better professions - or additional stats.
Do everyone a favour and read the thread, before you reply such nonsense.
Or alternatively, as you so delicately put it - Stop.
Just. Stop.

Lmao :joy: Savage.
I agree with Auss saying to having more dialog-react to races though, why stop at Zandalari? I think what was said about Nelvs & friends having their own dialog unique feature reactions would give a crisp revival to the ‘role-play’ in this Role-Playing-Game.

Want to know what’s also only cosmetic? High Elves for the Alliance. Or Broken for the Alliance. Or Redeemed for the Alliance. Or more body options for Kul Tirans. Or the trench coats we see almost every Kul Tiran wear. Or more hairstyles for Humans. Etc. But nah, we get emo Elves and yellow eyed Draenei. The latter of which isn’t even special any more, because Blizzard gave that customization option to Horde Blood Elves. The Alliance had to use an entire Allied Race slot for the same thing that the Horde was given for free.

So when the Horde continues to ask for more, after already receiving everything they previously asked for, and more, such as Mag’har Orcs, Nightborne, Zandalari Paladins, non-hunched over Orcs, Tauren with antlers, non-green eyed Blood Elves, etc, I begin to get skeptical if you guys actually need more, or are just being gluttonous and greedy.

Says the Horde.

But maybe you are right. Maybe you don’t have enough. Go ahead and ask for more. You definitely deserve to get what you ask for more than the other half of the playerbase.

Oh my God man, don’t compare adding speech dialog cosmetics to that nonsense - Especially High elves… We’re not dragging that into this. You lot ruin so many threads lmao.
We got Void Elves, and its been discussed in like a billion forum threads with High-Elves sh!t, don’t drag it into this one. And the trench coats we DO get, its the heritage armour for Kul’Tirans… Oh boy, I try defend on behalf of the Alliance complaining but y’all make it so hard sometimes lol.

And the Horde isn’t asking for more, their asking for speech dialog - To which they even compromised and requested it be granted for both factions / all races (to which I’d love the idea of, having class-dialog in Legion got me all jittery with excitement).
What Aussassin said is true, those raining down ‘this is unfair’ or ‘Stop asking for more’ clearly don’t read, or are simply filled with spite filled intentions - Nay, blinded by it.

here a better disappointment. The five-day change is 5 in-game days. You literally have to play for five days to get to chnage it. Have fun.

Maybe stop playing the lame faction with the lame races if you’re so unhappy with the Alliance. I play both factions. I’m sorry you’re so unhappy with the game that you have to type up a whole list of stuff to complain about.

Sorry, i’ll post with an Alliance toon next time since posting with a Horde one suddenly invalidates anything I post.

We’re not all lame. There’s just some of us, as I’m sure there is with the Horde; that are misguided … But you are right, having said that simply because you’re posting or replying with Horde - what you say shouldn’t be invalidated.

I don’t want some random voice dialogues, I just want what was asked for by the rest of the Alliance playerbase. But, as you believe, making sure that Zandalari Trolls receive some voice dialogues, to match their chosen Loa, is a more important investment for Blizzard’s time, than any of the requests that the Alliance has asked for. Some dating as far back as Vanilla’s beta.

If I could just get some good hair options I’d consider BFA a successful expansion for the Alliance. But, you know.
