Emblems of Heroism from Sons of Hodir dailies is somehow okay?

So simple you fail to grasp how they truly work.

I’m not saying it’s the number 1. I’m saying it all does, and it’s all unnecessary.

Do you guys like having to find ways to get gold? Carrying people in gdkps, farming, etc, do you actually find that fun?

Do you really have nothing better to do with your time? You’d rather get wow gold than pick up an extra shift driving and make some real money?

Absolutely.

I mean that’s fair enough then. I don’t think most do though.

Yes I have fun raiding.

I mean games are a waste of time period.

Kinda bad logic.

Fun isn’t a waste of time.

Gdkps are fun to me.

Farming is a core element of the game.

Gdkps are a form of raiding, it provides wages for consumables and attracts people who play a particular level or mindset. Gdkps for kara, za, t5 and not what I refer to btw.

Eh, I’d say inflation is a meme. Not Server economy… because that is either dead or alive.

Why not let me just buy gold then, so I can use my time to make large amounts of money in real life. If most of that gold is coming from gold buyers, and you know it is, why not just let me buy gold?

You profiting from gold buyers is no different than buying the gold. I know you want to believe it is, but it isn’t.

Because while it is mostly purchased gold, it should of never been allowed to begin with.
Doing something wrong by saying well, these people are doing things wrong is not how you fix a problem.

The problem must be fixed by blizzard using their money to hire proper GMS and invest in better detection software.

There are people who farm their gold awell.

So you’ll just benefit from it in the meanwhile, and pretend you play no part in it.

I don’t want to buy gold. I don’t need think it even needs to be in the game. But if you’re going to keep this current joke of a system where sever economies are flush with bot and purchased gold, don’t tell me it’s bad to introduce the wow token.

What would you do? “Oh, don’t pay me, its probably dirty gold”?

Just because the activity has corruption in it does not make the activity corrupted.

It does actually. That’s why we ban blood diamonds. Same concept.

By that logic, farming is corrupted since some people are kidnapped from their countries and made slaves to farm for them.

IRL Farming, like orchards etc

If a arguement cannot be applied to a similiar topic, it is flawed.

I have no idea what you said, but it definitely didn’t defend the part GDKPs play in gold buying, which you pretend to be against.

You argued that because something has corruption in it, that is then corrupted wholly.

When most of the something is corrupt, yes. Most of that gold is coming from Bots and gold buying. All those rogues paying 40k gold for a single glaive didn’t farm it. Servers have vastly higher sums of gold than they would without bots.

So yes, that particular activity is indeed incredibly ‘corrupt’ in the sense that it violates the terms of service.

Is it though? If it is initially gained from purchase, but then redistributed again and again by legitimate means is it corrupt? Is the person obtaining it corrupted by it? Does it ruin the activity as a whole?

When it’s that obvious? Yeah.
