Just hit 80 and will be farming for Emblems. I know that some quests reward emblems so I’ll be doing that for sure. But I also understand that Heroics reward emblems as well. My question is do all bosses in a heroic dungeon reward an emblem or just the final boss?

All do but the ones you get from questing are the lowest level ones that are largly “worthless” now days.
You can get basic gear on the ah that are better on most realms at a rather cheap price as old tier boes have gone down so much. This gets you the basic ilvl to get into gammas not heroics which are way more worth the time than questing for badges that will only give you ilvl 200 gear.
Gammas give per boss the 2nd highest badge, stones that are trades for even higher gear both per boss. While you can get the dailly for 5 of the highest badge per day. While they directly drop gear better than what you get for basic badges.
As they just hit 80, they have no Heirlooms to speak of, so they’re still worthwhile to get.
Not really to get the ones from the quest lines you have to spend a large chunk of time for vary few badges. There only worthwhile in the regard it puts you on the same phase as those that did those quests the reason the badges was added but no one really uses summoning stones as stuff is so close in wrath anyways.
You get far more value for your time buying a few items on ah and just going into a gamma. Or joining a pug raid for uldar if can’t buy boes as a single raid you’re going to leave with enough gear to get into gammas. And yes people do take fresh toons to uldar and toc as they’re hard to fill.
Questing for the badges is an exercise is wasting time unless you are wanting to see the quests but than doing it to see the quests not for the badges.
Unless you’re one of those mad people who actually enjoy doing quests instead of aiming directly at the endgame and doing nothing else because it’s not related to optimizing the fun out of the game you’re paying real money to play.
The obsession with “optimization” is what’s ruining the game.
The OP can farm like 80’ish emblems from quests, or trade in higher tier emblems from dungeons.
