Embers of Fyr'alath Empowered - February 20

You’d think that, yet here we are.

a hotfix is not server maintenance u bafoon.

Keep us on the hamster wheel. If I get the axe I’m unsubbing. I’m sick of that raid. They know I’m not the only one with this mentality.

Correct. Only thing that makes sense is the demands to stop the DDoS was buff the drop rate.

To be fair, he didn’t say it was. Just that the hotfix was put in during the server maintenance.

Also, it’s “buffoon”.

I’m looking forward to the posts in a few weeks where every str users has gained 400 io and obliterated mythic Tindral and Fryakk now that the game is finally playable for them with their axe.

We got two last night and didn’t know this change was in. Quite interesting.

Two left to go.

axe pumps for people that know how to play the game, the weapon by itself is not going to cruise control anyone if they are bad to begin within.

now, do you think its fair for classes to be under tuned and only “work” after they get the legendary? its a really great and fair mechanic eh? blizzard balancing at its finest.

I joined a Heroic Fyrakk last night to attempt to get the mount drop, and 6 axes dropped last night lol

There are about a dozen ish other specs worse and don’t have a legendary they are “balanced around” to get to improve anything.

Maybe they are all balanced around a secret legendary they need to find so they can compete? Maybe there is one my elemental shaman can find?

You’re going to get his follow up question:
Where is the legendary for all the classes that are still undertuned and have nothing to look forward to?

Edit: he beat me to it :joy:

Because it’s true and the “balanced around” is a meme.

So it’s worthy of mockery every time it comes up.

Absolutely too little too late. Miserable grinding this weapon out so I could have fun and at this point the content is just too stale for me to even care. No item in the game should be so heavily reliant on RNG and ungrindable. This was and continues to be terrible design. How about running Atal’Dazar 30+ times for a trinket on a loot table shared by 10 different items. RNG is killing this game, to an extent it is fine, but there needs to be systems to make these awful droprates feel better.

Even if someone doesn’t use the active or misses with it the DoT is a ton of damage that could prop up an average-bad player

Reviewing some logs the DoT from the legendary often does similar damage to the head enchant.

Do players also put that on par with a partial legendary in terms of improving their gear and single handed props players up?

the dot is more the double the helm enchant

Not if they have plans to allow both Fyr’alath and Nasz’uro to be upgraded in season 4 like the Sylv bow was in Shadowlands.

Let me be clear, I hated this acquisition. But there’s still time to make use of it.

Garbage Blizzard, as I said many weeks ago, stick your RNG up your A$$ Blizzard…

Pulling a random top str user parse mythic Smolderon, highest is a UH DK.

Mark is the DoT and it did 1.33m

Head enchant did 2.79m

Signat Brand trinket did more than Mark and Rage combined.

Maybe depends on the fight of course.

Top str user parse on mythic Fryakk is a fury warrior.

Signet Brand - 8.8m
Augury - 6.89m
Head Enchant - 3.64m
Mark - 3.75m
Rage - 5.4m
Total Legendary - (9.15m)

I have suggested on this very forum to bring back bonus roll coins, but rework them as tokens that can be used to purchase items for the vault to greatly increase the rewards to be for a desired slot.

While Blizzard finally increasing the drop rate is great and all… I wish I could be bothered to care at this point. That RNG grind, just like chasing many rare mounts, has sucked out all of the joy from playing WoW. Currently I am having lots more fun playing recently released indie games.
