It has been weeks and I have yet to earn Honored with the Ember court.
Is there any way to get more than 1600 rep a week? The weekly grind is real.

Why? The only things you get are more junk for the court and reskinned items that you can get way earlier from other sources.

Because the Reskin variant for the Ember Court Venthyr Priest is Night and Day… literally. Look it up.

Exactly what I just said, reskins. Why would you need to grind rep for that? The rep we get with it now is just fine lol.
Because it takes a LOT of rep to unlock the shoulders and Chest. It is going to be a while before they unlock.
Also, this is not like anyone elses reskin difference. It is pretty huge difference especially if you are a Holy priest.

It’s an activity that could literally span the entire duration of the expansion. Why would you be able to blaze through it?

Your covenant offers 3 different Skins for your covenant set.
In my case, (for free) Black and Silver lining.
My renown levels unlock the 2nd skin. Black with Gold Trim.
My Ember court Reputation unlocks, Glowing Gold with Gold Trims.
The concern is that you only get 1600 rep each week and it’s going to take a very long time to get this set unlocked when there is no other way to get rep with your ember court except by the weekly party you can throw. Which is 800 per guest if you make them all Elated moods by the end.
And I will be honest. I am not seeing a whole lot of content to keep my wallet pouring cash into the game just to wait for a reskin variant.
Also, the Maw is boring. Torgast is a success, but still kind of gated.
Honestly… everything is gated to death. That is the real issue here. Even flying is gated. We all know how annoying some areas are without flying.

Does upgrading the Court in your Sanctum boost rep gains per week? If so then that’s fine, it makes sense that you won’t be able to get everything in the first couple weeks. If it doesn’t, they should probably look at that because trying to get to Exalted with 1600 a week sounds fairly awful.

Gating is a necessary evil without it many would finish the expansion in 1-2 months then close there account till the next expansion, Blizzard wants to spread out the content over 2 years .

Ehhhh… the purple Kyrian set is pretty different from the other plate sets. Especially for a DK.
And that one seems like the most difficult to get.
Naw. I upgraded to level 2 and its 800 per guest. However, to be fair, eventually you can invite 3 guests to the party instead of 2. So that is another 800 per week.
But it will be weeks before that is even unlocked, simply to unlock a third guest slot.
Why? Because Redeemed souls are gated. Rep is gated, Everything is just gated to the point of forcing everyone to keep paying monthly.
Question is, does the game have enough end game content to justify all the gates?
