Ember Court Rep Grind?

Getting a transmog now vs a couple months down the line doesn’t change or answer this question. If you got the transmog today, that question would still be there and if anything, would subsequently make it more meaningful since you would have already hit your goal. It’s not like more content is going to suddenly appear if you got this reskinned armor today vs later.

Well, then I think it’s fine personally. Plenty of time to work on it.

Only you can answer that for yourself. I’m staying plenty busy.

You lost, your wall changes nothing. Take the L and vanish. Embarrassing.

This doesn’t make any sense within the context of the post lol.

It was a pretty good argument actually.

Yes, I’m a Night Fae and once I upgraded my anima conductor and portals they both gave me access to extra dailies and WQ that award more rep.

In my case an extra 500 rep a day from the portals NPC and about 2500 extra rep for Court of Night (which has my covenant armor recolor).

I mean, looking like you want to now can make all the other grinding you will be doing in the months to come more enjoyable because you will at least be really pleased with your transmog.

Obviously, you don’t really care about transmog, but different strokes for different folks.

Court of the Night and Ember Court are two different things. I’m Night Fae too and already exalted with the Night Court, that was pretty easy.

The real question is whether the other covenant specific reputations (ie Night Fae Mushroom guy) are just as slow. If not then that’s an issue, there’s no reason there should be a disparity in how quickly you’re able to unlock your transmogs.

Personally I’m very disappointed in the Ember Court. It’s a hot mess full of lengthy unlock quests and poorly communicated mechanics that culminates in to a rushed few minutes of boring mini-games once a week.

I made the mistake of leveling it to 2 on my Priest thinking it might increase rep gains or add something interesting to the mechanics… instead I got a Dredger mini-pet who is supposed to help me during the Ember Court but had no visible effect. If I tried to summon him it told me he was already present somewhere but I spent over half the time looking for him and he wasn’t anywhere to be seen. Definitely not worth delaying your anima conductor or transportation network unlocks.

Sabbia,

I am not going to argue with you- because I authentically don’t care. But what I do care about is letting you know how much of an arrogant prick you seem like in this thread.
lol- can you please stop acting so arrogant and let people ask the questions they want? And if you disagree with why they want it- can you maybe keep your unhelpful criticisms to yourself? You added no value to this thread but muddied the waters, A LOT, for others seeking similar information to OP.

I would also grind for the priest Venthyr pieces, because they are cool and I want them. And having them now instead of later is a tangible benefit- and as worthy of a grind as any other quest in this game.

Let people game the way they want to game.

Can we all at least agree that Ember Court should’ve never existed?

Yay, I got a fan! Only a true fan would respond 4 months later on a post I don’t even remember any of the context of!

:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It sounded cool, but the way it was implemented was so god awful. Thankfully, I’m a fairy now.

“How are we gonna top that last Ember Court?!”. We won’t, Temel. We outchea.

I got to exalted just by doing the scenario every week.

Same. Plant seeds and call it a 3 days. Much simpler and way less cheesy than whatever that toddler ember court game.

It isn’t bad, as long as you make it one of your regular weekly “chores”, although it’d be nice if they really tightened up the RNG on events spawning so that the middle part didn’t have to take a thousand years. I just hit Exalted on my human a week or so ago (racial rep bonus), and will hit it on this one next week, although I was underwhelmed by how there’s no achievement for it, only a mount that you can buy for a ton of anima, a book that you can give alts to skip them past the rep-based steps of building up the court, and an item that takes away a one step of pre-gathering to do the weekly event again. They’ve also put in a few holiday items on occasion that boost rep with your guests at least. But I don’t think that the rep with the Ember Court itself is affected.

Just make sure you pick up rep-gain-boosting items, like hats from the Darkmoon Faire when you can - can you keep these in your inventory after the Faire is gone? I don’t even know. They’re handy, though!

I feel your pain. I really really want the Queen’s Conservatory reskin, but when I saw the anima cost I got depressed and abandoned that character.

It’s 1.25 years in the future and everyone googling this question still hates you. Just so you know.

Good lord I got halfway through this thread before reading “redeemed souls are gated” and realising this was a massive necro. And a pointless one at that.

NOTHING BUT BOMBS FOR YOU :bomb: :bomb: :bomb: :bomb: :bomb: :bomb: :bomb: :bomb:

Because they WANT the reskin appearance. It’s a very unique color combo that looks great for holy priests. And no there isn’t a faster way to get rep other than do the weekly event and try to get as high a satisfaction score from your guests as possible. The more guests you have unlocked the more rep you can get. The Bottles that extend the time can help as well. Gives you more time to make everyone happy.

Oh LOL it’s a necro thread. They really need to fix the forums so stuff locks after a month like it’s supposed to.
