Ironically this is also against tos lol
I mean itâs Blizz, they f up just as much as any other gaming company, especially when it comes to having automated banning protocolsâŚif youâve ever played New World youâd know the automated banning isnât just an issue with Blizz games.
It caught you.
âThe listâ doesnât make mistakes.
More likely for blizzards automation systems which we all agree is terrible. Proof that my account with no characters above 1 got the warning. Never running a gdkp
Its not a huge portion of their revenue. In fact it often costs Blizzard revenue.
- Bot accounts often use stolen Credit/Debit cards which cause Blizzard to LOSE money.
- Bot accounts often use Credit/Debit cards (bought in bulk) in low income places like Argentina to get the Argentina sub price for WoW which at times were equivalent to $2 USD.
- Bots/Gold Sellers use up Blizzard resources in banning them, which could otherwise go to (hopefully) faster ticket resolution times etc.
Forget the list, he goes to the block.
Argentina prices are not 2$ anymore.
Nice self report.
Probably some code that hits account wide, I can see why they do this. They want to make sure you get the warning. And whos to say what character youâll be playing for P2.
I have never been banned and Iâve never cheated. In 15 years. I donât share the opinion that their automation is bad.
I was using Argentina as an example of past prices like in 2020. Idk what is the cheapest price right now world wide. But my point is bots usually pay far less than the $15 USD a month.
I have two accounts. One is my main. I use the other to trade between myself cuz mail is 1 hour delay. The other account only has level ones.
itâs still negligible compared to the money the account actually makes in gold selling and the amount Blizz spends on combating botters and paying developers to find solutions.
I would never think it is just a blizzard problem. Automation is cheaper than real people sadly but also too black and white. The downside to their timing right now is there will be a flood of people getting reported for everything under the sun, with something new added to report and accounts that didnât have warnings before now having warnings, and they just had a massive layoff directly effecting their CS staff. So appeals will now take even longer than before to get false bans removed.
No, they did not. Please read it again.
As was previously pointed out, the warning is written in legal lingo so the company has firm footing for future action, if needed. Itâs straightforward and succinct, and thereâs nothing wrong with that.
Theyâre letting the recipients, and through those players many others, know at least some of what they know. Itâs kinda like, âDonât say I didnât warn youâ.
Iâm sure your multiple mule accounts will really throw them off your trail.
F around and find out
Not all steal credit cards. A lot of botters use subscriptions and calculate them into their profit margins and are still in profit. Only foreign botters do because their policies and risks arent as high. Some people bot from the us as well and would rather not commit federal crimes.
Ok wellâŚyou are absolutely sketchy for this. Whether or not you arenât doing anything sketchy this is still VERY out of the norm for the normal WoW player.
No one cares GDKPs are banned tomorrow. You will have to get a job now
