Except they are. Notification of a warning is often considered adverse action and an escalatory stage to bigger punishments.

Almost like this is the first time people are possibly being punished for something before it’s against the rules. This isn’t grey at all, GDKP’s we’re allowed till phase 2 starts.

I don’t know, it might just be your first mmo or something. Warnings in 90% of MMO’s are the first stage of a punishment ladder.
Once again, you weren’t actually punished. If you’re having this much of a melty at a simple warning that you’ll need to change your behavior going forward, I can’t wait to see what happens when you actually get a suspension for something.

Well, I don’t break the rules. No idea why you want a fellow player to get banned just because you got btfo on a random SOD forum argument.
Doing GDKPs is absolutely fine right now and people doing them should not be subject to harassment for participating until they are actually banned.
Evidence? Other then knowing people who climbed the penelty ladder for vastly different reasons each time they got a ban, no I have no proof that these particular warnings will lead to elevated account penalties other then it seeps to be SoP.
Which is why I said if they weren’t meant to actually be official account warnings that climbed the penalty ladder then the messages should have been worded totally differently. With a more informative tone then country cop who is “doing you a favor” by shaking you down and only letting you off with a warning.

Laundering RMTed gold is absolutely not fine, and if Blizzard had been willing to spend the money and time necessary to trace all of it down most of the people participating in them would have been banned already.
So many blizzard employees on alt accounts.
This email reads like you did something wrong and they are warning you about it. However they jumped the gun and should have sent it out after P2 started and GDKP participation was confirmed.
