Emails being sent out giving "Warnings" to people who were in GDKP's

No it’s not impossible, it’s just very rare. Usually down to human error of whomever is doing the investigation such as a typo when searching a database and more complex issues than RMT.

Citation needed

Probably, I did GDKP’s in classic. However, I’ve since reformed myself. I no longer attend GDKP’s, I’ve cut out the fast food, and I call my kids at least twice a week.

I’ve never been in one.

I’m not good enough to be a carry.

I’m far too tight fisted to pay for gear that I can get for a few gold worth of consumes.

MS>OS+1 with my guild is fun and exciting.

So if someone has attended 1 GDKP, that means they are also running their own GDKP’s on alt accounts?

I don’t think you have any evidence for that claim, and I’d be more than happy for a blue post to see I have 1 account on my IP/credit card, and have only ran 1 GDKP on 1 account ever.

I think this proves that Blizzard has been concerned about GDKPs for a while and has been watching accounts and gathering data. It’s also a not-so-subtle warning that they can track GDKP, despite some people claiming otherwise.

Where did that guy in the thread go, who was arguing how false bans arn’t rare?

False bans when it comes to RMT are extremely rare.

If 200+ people mass report someone in a short window or whatever the threshold is when it bans you instead of auto silence/squelch (which is like 40+) ya that’s usually resolved and overturned. (The systems logic is if 200+ people mass report you, its more likely than not that you did something wrong).

An appeal to authority that you know will not/cannot happen.

I’m convinced.

Account warning for GDKP.

And that’s why you got the email. What’s the issue? Did you not want to be informed that GDKPs were no longer allowed?

Im impressed blizzard. Bravo. Get those GDKP exploiters

Issue in main post.

I think they were just doing you a courtesy

They knew you GKDP’d, they warned you, I don’t see the issue?

Unless you relied on it to gear up and be carried through.

There’s no issue. You are a known GDKP player and Blizzard has sent out a COURTESY email informing you that this will be considered exploitative behavior.

If Blizzard hadn’t done this, you would use the “I didn’t know!” excuse the next time you ran a GDKP and got actioned for it.

There is no reason to be upset. This is just a warning and reminder that the rules are changing.

I wonder how many of those “I didn’t know!” threads will pop up tomorrow and the coming days.

It’s gonna be quite nice

Just so everybody know
FB don’t need an invite to see in your “private” groups and blizzard don’t need anything to see what all characters you have on your account.

Admitting to ToS violations on official forums… they were right the human race is getting more stupid with every passing year.
