I have 2 accounts, this one and one I never really use. I lost access to the email that this account is connected to. I want to change this account’s email to the one the unused is connected to. Should I just delete the other battlenet account and then change the email on this one when that finishes going through?
I don’t want to lose access to this account, the other one is expendable. I just need to use the email address that it uses.
You might have to submit a ticket and have a GM help with that but I don’t think it’s necessary to delete the entire account with the other email. But did you try switching out the other account’s email with another one, and then using the email you want on your current account? That is assuming you don’t need to access your inaccessible email to make that change.

Deleting the account wouldn’t be entirely necessary, I wouldn’t think.
Should just be a simple matter of creating a new throwaway Gmail address (or your preferred host) for the expendable account, change that account email to free it up, then set the freed email to the account you want to keep.

That’s what I’m hoping, because access is not possible. I’ve tried.
You could probably create a new Gmail for the second account, freeing up the email that you want to use. Not sure if there’s a cooldown present in doing so.
The problem will be if you plan on sms protect, authenticator services if you only have one number. But not sure that’s a factor in this.

I really don’t mind deleting the other account. I just hope I can change it over without access to the email.
The safest bet is to put up a ticket before doing anything drastic. You may need an alternative means of verification since you can’t use your current email, unless the GM can see the other account is linked to you and deems that as sufficient enough to assist you further.

Thanks for the help. I’ll make a ticket.
Edit: Success! Thanks for all the help.
I made a new email for the other account, and was able to make all necessary changes.
In case anyone has a similar issue, you do not need access to the inaccessible email. Just need to verify on the ones you change to.
