Tried resetting, destroyed and recrafted, not working at all, same as everyone else.

Here in solidarity with the rest of the baitless masses.
No addons loaded.
Have successfully crafted basic elusive bait before.
Can craft it not but cannot place it or put it on my hotbar.

So the same as everyone else, but contributing to keep the timestamps up to date for other disappointed and confused people.

the use green text is gone, so too is the usability on it. please blizz fix sooner than later

Same problem. Please fix. Since this is a main mechanic for a current profession. If this has been happening since December 2022. I am not so sure we will get a fix soon.

Same here. Tried various means of unbugging it but to no avail. Went through 3-4 baits before I stopped. This is not only locking skinners out of a core profession component, it’s also locking hunters out of getting unique pets.

I can’t use it on my skinner as well. Tried deleting the bait and recrafting it… nothing works.

So wait, if that’s true, would that just mean that even though it shows it’s off cooldown, it’s actually not because the UI wasn’t updated properly?

Same issue has been happening for me ever since reset. I don’t usually get upset over bugs but this one is absolutely bad. We’ve spent months working on our skinning profession only to have it essentially neutered with no apparent fix or acknowledgement from Blizzard.

Please make it work again.

I have this same problem of not being able to use the bait, the blizz will solve it soon, because time is money. I hope that blizz makes up for this lost time with something useful.

Seems that a lot of the posters are missing this post in the Known Issues sticky.

The Bait was bugged, so it got disabled. They are already aware of the issue and hopefully will get a fix in soon.

I came here to check forums to see if it was just me or others,last couple days my hunter cant use his baits,click on it and does nothing thought maybe it was addon or something .Disabled everything still does nothing,glad it isnt just me cause I know if i contact blizz their answer is always well get rid of wtf file and so on is always there answer ha ha and never fixes anything.
