Elune Cutscene Anxiety Thread

There was a few in there

Which is worse, seeing familiar NPC’s dead, or seeing familiar NPC’s raised as undead serving the ones who killed them?

This is how you look to me.

Honestly I’m looking for them writing in that Sylvanas sacrifices herself later, and Alliance being like ‘well she redeemed herself in the end’. Then no one has to worry about forgiving her because she’ll just die.

Yeah that’s clearly absurd. The undead killed far, far more than a quarter of humanity.

There are vieras in an another mmo, so, probably you are correct (and this is contributing to a bigger popularity of the title)

True. If there is one thing constant in Azeroth it is the self righteous, self pity, and yes, self hatred of the Night Elves.

Were they now…

To name a few.

I hope you are right

Eh, those kids that ended up in Torghast are not obligated to agree with this decision.

Elune works in mysterious ways.

It bears reminding that Night Elves are not the only ones who ended up in Torghast. Heck, when you consider the scale of the fact that the entire cosmos is currently funneling souls into the Maw, any one group is going to be a very, very small minority.

Blizzard is putting forward the idea that Elune let the NEs die and go to shadowlands because she heard her sister needed help.
Considering the shadowlands is where the dead of the ENTIRE UNIVERSE die how many trillions of people do you think die every second in the universe that a single magic tree’s inhabitants have enough to make a difference.

Zero logic in this narrative. Absolutely zero.

Arguably if they would, they would get examples of

  • better story
  • accurate (rather) to the source material story
  • good rogue light
  • example of cooperation between the players and the dev team during the development

So, not sure what they played. CoD maybe?

Come to think of it, the Alliance-side Burning of Teldrassil was actually very similar to the opening of I believe MW2, where Washington DC is blown up

I explained to you in the other thread (with numbers) how those few that we saved are only a very small fraction of those that actually died, thus the overwhelming majority was obliterated in the maw.

Presumably their isnt alot of universe left. As per Illidan most of the universe had already been destroyed by the Legion.

Along with the overwhelming majority of every single person who died since Legion. It’s not just Night Elves with skin in the game here.

Trolls - ok, they kind of got the isle.

Gnomes still do not have neither access to full Gnomeregan, nor to the full Mechagon.

Park was replaced completely. I guess a monument to human potential is more relevant in the eyes of some devs.

So? The Night Elves were the only race whose entire future was dependant on this because their entire damn race was sent to the maw, and now they’re all obliterated…
