To be fair I never liked him even when everyone loved him. I’m just not a fan of people who take credit for others inventions.
I always found the notion that he bought a car company called Tesla and that now people associate him as the founder/creator when all he did was buy it, to be ironic as hell given he has a lot of parallels to Thomas Edison.

Yeah the Cybertruck is just… an absolute mess of a car. And it’s also a death trap. You wouldn’t catch me driving one, that’s for sure. Aside from the fact that they’re too expensive and they’re ugly as sin, I’d rather not ride in a car that could kill me quicker than some beater I could buy for $500
I know, it’s just so terrible that he does this.
He should really start killing people like the others that don’t make the top 10 worst.

Did you know it’s not road legal outside of the US? The EU and Australia banned it because it doesn’t meet the bare minimum safetey requirements.
But anyway, my (many, many) beefs with him are not because of that. That’s just the icing.

The moment Musk revealed the ‘shatterproof glass’ the cybertruck would have (and now has) I just shook my head.
Having shatterproof glass in your car is like gluing glass beads to your airbag cover. You might as well write your own obituary every time you hop in the thing and just change the date every time you do it.

Obviously if you’re the best in the world at a video game you’re smart enough to run anything and do anything. Everyone knows world first raiders could be the next US president and run this country super efficiently!

Fair enough. But yeah its construction is incredibly dangerous both to its own occupants and to other vehicles on the road. It’s not legal to sell in Europe or Australia. Or even import (I mean you could technically import one, but it’d have to stay parked and wouldn’t be allowed on public roads).
Compare to the Model 3 which is incredibly safe. It’s like it’s not even the same company. It also completely fails at being a truck, and doing truck things. ANY other truck EV is better.

The criticisms of Teslas being “too strong” and “too heavy” and literal “deathraps” fall flat when I’m driving a small car with two semis on either side.
There are plenty of other monstrosities on the road. Those Teslas actually looking kinda safe.
Would you “feel” safer driving a small car or a big truck? Well the big truck is safer for you, it’s more dangerous to those who picked the small car.
