Yeah he’s essentially Thomas Edison. He’s an investor that takes credit for the things others made.
Yeah there’s a lot more I’d like to say about him but I’d rather stay within the forum CoC. Needless to say he’s definitely in the top 10 worst people to ever live on this planet in all of human history. He might not be at the top but he’s not too terribly far down.

We have many people in our history that have actually killed hundreds, thousands, millions of people but then we have Elon Musk. The worst of the worst. He said something on X that hurt my feel bads so let’s put in on the list.

Which is probably true, the US literacy rate is such that 54% of all adults in the country have literacy below a 6th grade level, and 21% are completely illiterate and can’t read.
Just think about that. The US population is 334.9 million.
That means 180.84 million people have below 6th grade literacy.

What he said he’s extremely insulting to someone that has either personally survived or is related to someone that survived an event where another human being was trying to destroy their lives, culture, country, whatever.
Sounds like your “education” is just social media.
Yet surprisingly Elon’s side is the one pushing for education reform since by your own admission the department of education is doing horrible.
So which is it? Do we need education reform or more of the status quo?

I never said I agreed with his take.
I just replied to it and said what I said. Elon is a horrible person, most billionaires are. They only care about themselves and their wealth and will actively screw thousands out of things like decent wages and benefits if it means they get to keep a tiny bit more of the wealth they’ve accumulated.
But is he up there with the worst of the worst? No.
It’s kind of gross what’s going on. Teachers more worried about their own butts instead of the children we’re shepherding into the next generation.
It’s clear the educational system got radicalized, and now the teachers union is scared people are coming for them. Well they are, and they are right to. Look at what they are teaching children.
There is nothing deeper. I bet the most you got is he swindled someone or has an opinion you disagree with.
None of which would put him on whatever list your have in your head that makes him top 10 worst people to live in this planet.

Yeah, apparently. He’s spoken about playing a lot of Diablo (2 I think) in the past.
Elon Musk makes the terminally online screech so he’s alright in my books. Couldn’t care less about going to mars or whatever dumb cars he builds though.

I do like the idea of going to Mars. If I could see Mars terraformed in my lifetime, that’d be insane.
Dude, yes. I really don’t give a fig for the guy. To me he’s just another weird billionaire that sells cool stuff.
