Elitists are quitting, leaving the casual in a game they didn't want

Interesting thing is that in beta it was the casual players that liked systems like the covenants being locked while top 1% hated it. Now everyone dislikes it but if someone liked it, they were probably casual. How in that situation did 1% players get what they wanted while casuals didn’t?

What content did they lose? seriously other than titan forging what was taken from them? dungeons, LFR, WQ, rep grinds etc. If you actually look at it rep used to be something raiders needed for attunement but now it’s almost all cosmetic ( the exception of them putting sockets on the rep vendor in SL ) also why would a casual player get raid gear from easy content? sure there should be a gear progression in the easier content but didn’t they do that? I remember WQ gear getting better with renown and upgrading my covenant gear, and If Korthia isn’t for casuals who is it for then? you have gearing, just not a free pass for gear others had to overcome a challenge for.

so? he’s also game director. I swear I say this every time I engage here but it makes ZERO financial sense to only care about raiders. ZERO. The members of world first guilds and the guy that players 20 minutes a week pay blizz the exact same amount of money. They obviously don’t sit down in a meeting and go “lets hear ideas for raiders, screw everyone else”
