Elitist abuse of casuals

Coaches who don’t have experience with the sport shouldn’t, no. The way you get experience in content in WoW is running that content. For instance, someone who doesn’t run m+ shouldn’t say “remove the timer” as they don’t know how easy the content is without the timer compared to with the timer.

The most organized form of WPVP is forming a firing-squad in front of a flight master.

He should have been using voice chat and told me a second time. I usually read chat fairly carefully.

Umm lol I was just in an all pvp guild on Tich it had glads/hero players… Noone was kicked unless you were being mean to people within the guild or to others.

I want to scream whenever I read about someone wanting to ‘slow down’ in M+.

1: There’s plenty of breathing room unless you’re practicing for the MDI.

2: If the timer expires, you still get loot.

3: IT’S A RACE, A RAAAAAAAAACE! That’s the point! It’s supposed to be a speed clear, that’s the point. THAT’S THE ENTIRE POINT.

What Jaina said, these people sound very toxic and you should be thankful you are no longer part of that community.

I know it might feel bad right now for being kicked for such a dumb reason. But what you say and do is on you and not on them. Hope you can find a better community to play with and do the things you like to do.

 for you OP

Lol, I got kicked once because I got an achievement for something and then went afk right after and when I come back I see no guild - I whispered an officer why and he said he was tired of me ignoring him. He had said grats but since I was afk I didn’t see that.

LOL, another fragile ego of a power hungry GM. Yours is worse than my kick.

I have a feeling what really happened was that the op was bad at and/or unwilling to do m+ (by his own admission) , picked up a reputation for it within his guild, posted a bunch of stuff about m+ on the forums, got found out by a guildie and teased within an inch of his life, then quit.

I don’t buy that the gms would call someone into discord to cyber bully them for 10 minutes before a kick.

A couple things here. I would agree that if someone doesn’t have a fair amount of experience in content, they shouldn’t talk about changes that “should be made” to that content. However, what they did to you is what i would call elitist. It’s a surprise to me that you didn’t know your own guild leader and officers were like that. All in all i think you’re better off not being in that guild, but i don’t think that should discourage you from finding one that is a good fit.

Sounds like you got kicked out of a guild full of elitist children whose self esteem rides on being important in the game in some way. Truth is you didn’t do anything wrong and probably will benefit from it.

Thanks the information was rather funny.
I will edit…below…

Toons are not real, but thoughts worded where everone can see are very real.

If you hijacked a car at gun point. Would you not expext to he heald accountable if you streamed it live?

I wouldn’t worry about this troll.

In regards to your former guild: Most guilds should not be acting like dicks, especially in the manner they describe. There are a few guilds bred on toxicity and trolling, but most of the time these guilds die off as members realize what they’re doing is wrong and leave the guild for pastures new.

Second, the GM, the Co-GM, and the guildie who posted screenshots all need to be reported for harassment. I’m not sure what the terms of service is over at Discord (haven’t used the program in quite some time now), but I would be very surprised if Discord allows this kind of crap (and even if Discord does nothing, I highly doubt Blizzard would allow stuff like this to occur without recourse (especially since their own forums are involved)).

Finally, your former guild should NEVER be requiring character profiles to be public as condition of guild membership. I find increasingly that those guilds are the ones that tend to be elitist, toxic, and in some cases both.

I hope things look up for you, OP.

I mean its not like there aren’t 400 threads trash talking how this game caters to casuals and such.

Why so you and your anti challenging content army can downvote anything that goes against your ideas? Sounds about right
