I think this ship has sailed. They should have done Silver Covenant HEs as the allied races, but they didn’t. Given all the customizations VEs have now that can make them look like HEs I doubt they’d ever do another elf race just for lore purposes.

The ship has been called to shore. We are in the expansion where player wants are given, and “anything can be anyone” is the current philosophy. So listening for once and doing the right thing instead slapping another band-aid solutiom should be a thing now

Would like more unique hairstyles for all elf flavors, Dark Ranger skins and eyes uncoupled, and Dark Ranger customizations for Nightborne.

Always seemed very weird to me that blizz made the void elves a random subgroup of blood elves.
When they continued to use the silver covenant as the alliance high elves for patches in almost every expansion. Could have easily written the lore to have Alleria return to the silver covenant and convince them to become void like her. High elf race with an on use racial to become all voidy for 10 sec.

Would it have been such a terrible idea if the Developers just copied what they did for Alleria and implemented that for the players instead of let’s take this blue marker and color some fun away?
I decided to roll a Void Elf (which I said I wouldn’t) and the moment I saw my elf turn Blue I was like damn I really do feel Blue inside now.
The developers made Alleria the NPC look cool, sadly that wasn’t the same treatment players got.

really love the modified Night Elf models used for High Elves in Vanilla. Wish they get upresd and be the model used for High Elves

Void elves are high elves. Blood Elves are as well. Consider the Windrunner Sisters, Alleria, Sylvanas and Vereesa Windrunner
- Alleria Windrunner is a Void Elf
- Sylvanas was a Blood Elf, the Ranger General
- Vereesa Windrunner is a high elf.
How could three sisters that all grew up in the same house (One you actually get sent to if you are a leveling Blood Elf) be a different race?

Stormwindians, Worgen, Kul’tirans, and the Forsaken are all humans within the same generation, sharing families and friends among them
We got four variation of humans. And now asking for 1 or 2 more thalassian variations is too much?
