sockets cost honor. Buy a socket and slap a gem in your gear.

This is a horrible design. All the tool tip states is the damage type changes depending on which type of gems you have. I assumed it would have a default damage type and not just be completely USELESS if we didn’t have a gem socket yet
nothing gem socketed = nothing type damage
i just tested this
i have 2 emerald gems if it matters
after doing 100 million damage to the cleave dummies i checked my overall damage (on boomkin)
this focusing lens was 0.1% of the overall dam
idk if i like it too much, or if gem type really makes a huge diff
of course a single target proc embellishment is going to be significantly lower on a multi target cleave test.
well my bad i figured more targets = more chance to proc

Does the damage increase per gem, or does it just require 1 normal gem to do max damage?
A lot of people copied bicmex, kasu, and jellybeans on these, including myself but I’m starting to think they’re trash and it’s better to just run ascendance.
All these embellishments heavily overrated. Think most contribute like what 2%-3% of your damage.
The dark ascension gives you like what 3% of a secondary stat.
This is the pve RWF nonsense mindset seeping into pvp.
Only bought embellishments on 1 character and won’t consider doing more until prices completely bottom out to late DF levels lol
less than 3% and it randomly gives you crit.
Does it scale with ilvl? Also, can we use last season crafts - cloth belt for instance?
Is the secondary it gives always random? or is it a high chance for a certain type of stat?
I’ve not played since launch, because the expansion keeps crashing my nvidia broadcast and I won’t play if I cannot discord or stream.
