This is just utter Tauren Patties.
Stop this madness. Open up your damn LFR. All of it. On week 2 or 3. I don’t care. But having to wait 2 full months to do all wings in the same week is crap.

For some reason people like Preach think only people who can dedicated 2-5hrs daily to WoW should see what raids should offer, I honestly never understood it myself
Anyways it is what it is

Or just remove LFR. Would be much better.

I honestly recommend just clearing normal. I get that some people don’t have guilds or whatnot, but it shouldn’t be that difficult to PUG it. In fact it might be easier on bosses like the Painsmith Raznal fight.

I agree but at least we do have lfr
We could not have it like some people on the forums advocate

This is something that FF14 does way better than WoW.
Queue’able raids unlock right away. Everything isn’t so ridiculously time gated on a week by week basis.

or just don’t do it… cool how that choice thing works…

You did it wrong, OP.
It’s supposed to go, “EIGHT! EIGHT WEEKS BEFORE LFR OPENS! AHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”
Like the Count from Sesame Street.

if you only care about the cinematics, watch them on youtube

I don’t know why it takes so long >.> didn’t it used to be like one week between wings?

Ew grouping but people have cooties

Run normal, it’s usually easier than LFR anyways.

Or you can ignore lfr cause it’s not for you, its for people who’s time is limited and can’t dedicate 3 hours to raiding a night.

So subscribers should unsub and watch wow cinematics on youtube instead?
I think a lot of them have already taken your advice.

And do the monsters in the queueable raids just fall over and die because players get a stacking buff every time they fail to beat them? And do the players then complain that they have nothing to do after defeating the queueable raid for the first time?
Because that’s how WoW’s LFR players complain. The very first time they clear it - BAM! - “When’s the next raid? Now I have nothing to do.” We saw this on Archimonde, we saw it on Nzoth, etc.
Gonna repeat my post from a few below this, for context:
There used to be no delay at all. But when they added the determination buff in Throne of Thunder, they also started delaying the wing releases.
It’s to mimic a sense of progression. For raid teams, clearing the raid takes time. A raid is supposed to last weeks or months, not be cleared in a single day.
When they added determination, they made it so everybody was guaranteed to clear the entire thing within an hour or two. So the same patch they added determination, they also started delaying the wing rollouts.
Basically, since the fights themselves no longer take time to work through, Blizzard must fall back on using the calendar to do that, instead.
This all started with the Determination buff. You can’t separate the two.

We can just let the players who play the higher levels pay for it themselves.

I’m going to be clear off the bat, you are playing the game wrong if you refuse to raid on any level. We are way too polite about this in online discussions, and I feel like this discussion will be more fruitful for the OP to learn things if we stop pretending and get honest about this.
LFR is a concession. It’s like “Oh, you’ve absolutely refused to have fun with this game? Well, shucks, that’s really a bummer for you, but since it would harm you even more to have no idea what’s happening with the story, at least play through the ‘Story Mode’ version of the raid”.
Like, you need to understand, you would have more fun if you raided, and it is Ion Hazzikostas’s job, as someone who wants to secure your $$$, to try to get you to have more fun. He’s doing his job by trying to get you to have more fun. You refuse to eat green eggs and ham? Well, too bad, it’s going to be continued to be offered to you because you will, in fact, enjoy green eggs and ham. You’re wrong if you think you won’t.

If you can’t raid for 8 weeks, frankly, that’s a skill issue.
