To get the obvious out of the way, do you use the Log Out or Exit Game buttons when you stop playing?
The game only commits changes to your UI and settings during the logout protocols. If you’re using Alt+F4, disconnecting, or forcibly closing the game window, your changes won’t take.
How do you close the game?
I know some people who like to Alt+F4 “because it’s faster” and doing that does not save any settings changes.
Similarly, if you have a tendency to DC, even if it’s just for a second, any changes will not be saved (if you have this as a regular problem, it’s best to relog as soon as you’re done making changes to ensure it saves).
I’d imagine playing in Windowed Mode and closing it by clicking the X would be the same as Alt+F4 as well. I know someone who played in Windowed Mode until like a handful of months ago (though they closed the game normally).
I know there have been actionbar bugs this expansion so there’s a good chance it’s not this, but just throwing it out there because some people don’t realize.
