Edit: Honor transfer working with 11.0.2

We are starting the third week of the prepatch and transfer of Honor points from one toon to another is still disabled.

Third week of no blue posts on the issue.

I’m afraid we don’t have updates to provide, Forumtoon. The ability is disabled to address some issues with it, once those issues are resolved the ability should be re-enabled. Outside of that, we don’t have a timeline on when that may happen, sorry.

Ok. Even ‘there is no new news’ is an update. It feels better than silence♥️

Some people feel that way, others are the opposite and hate updates that don’t actually provide anything new. :slight_smile:

The best we can say is that it is being worked on.

It definitely is helpful and I believe the majority agree. If it’s difficult to fix this issue with honor level why not add the tokens back in until it’s resolved next expansion? That would be better than us all losing the honor we have maxed out on a bunch of characters waiting to transfer

If you want to give feedback, it’d better to do such on the PVP forums. The CS form isn’t part of the dev team.

While this may make you “feel better”, it’s really a waste of time. Regardless of who is actually providing the update to the players, somewhere down the line, the person working on it needs to be interrupted to ask how it’s going. Not only is this a massive annoyance to someone working to solve an issue as quickly and accurately as possible, it makes the wait even longer.

Part of doing a job as a team is communication. If the status is not already communicated, someone is already not doing their job as they should.

It’s more of other people having issues with such. You may like what Vrak had said, but others will find it fell short of what they want, and folks will want more out of a given blue to their liking, more to the point of wanting a blue to pretty much go up to the CEO on the poster’s behalf.

If you mean to the public, I think there may be some conflating an expectation with “their job”.

The QA and Game Development team has never been in the habit of providing updates and ETAs to the public. It isn’t that they haven’t done so before, but it is rare. There are often too many moving parts and unknowns and they don’t wish to give a time frame that they then have to change. Historically, that has caused more strife among the playerbase.

They do keep each other informed as their job dictates, up and down the line. I know it’s frustrating to be in a state of limbo on issues like this. We definitely hope to have the issues resolved as soon as possible. If any information comes up, I’ll be happy to share what I can.

Apologies, I don’t think we should be hearing things all the time or that CS isn’t doing theirs.

I meant the group who is working on X problem should be updating someone who is updating the big list somewhere.

CS can talk to the keepers of the list and not bug the devs.

There is some of that. The Game Developers and Community Management provide a known issues list, but it doesn’t list everything that is currently being worked on.

During big patches like this one and the expansion launch my team maintains the Support Article that contains various known issues that CS is seeing a high volume of contact for. It isn’t everything, just the highest drivers of contact.

There is no doubt that we wouldn’t want to share more information, but it isn’t always feasible, so we share what we can.
